The "Hour Week" clause defines the standard number of working hours expected from an employee within a typical workweek. Hour Week. The Company shall continue contributions based upon a forty (40) hour week while an employee is off work due to paid vacations, paid holidays, other paid leaves, Negotiating Committee when negotiating contract, or on leave to serve as Grand Lodge Representative for the Union.
Hour Week. Subject to the exceptions hereinafter provided, the ordinary hours of work shall be an average of 38 per week to be worked on one of the following bases:
(a) 38 hours within a work cycle not exceeding seven consecutive days; or
(b) 76 hours within a work cycle not exceeding fourteen consecutive days; or
(c) 114 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 21 consecutive days; or
(d) 152 hours within a work cycle not exceeding 28 consecutive days.
(e) any other work cycle during which a weekly average of 38 ordinary hours are worked as may be agreed.
Hour Week. The ordinary hours of work for a full-time Employee provided by subclause 13.1 shall be worked in one of the methods set out in Annexure 6 – 38 Hour Week.

Hour Week. The system of RDO’s to remain the same for employees, employed prior to 1/4/2005. • Rostered days off shall be as follows: Five Days Fixed, i.e.

VI) The remaining RDO’s can be totally flexible at the employers discretion but Mondays and Fridays to be utilised as much as possible • All employees employed after 01/04/05 are to work a 38hr week with an early finish on Fridays • The option is to be given to all existing employees to go to a 38 hrs week (early finish Fridays) in lieu of the current RDO system. • All employees that accept a early finish on Fridays forfeit their right to a RDO system • Employees that perform service work to be on 38 hrs per week (no RDO’s) ie.
Hour Week. (a) Full time employees who were employed prior to 2nd January 1998 shall continue to access accrued days off (ADOs) and be entitled to “bank” up to a maximum of 5 ADOs. Where an employee banks such ADOs they shall be taken within twelve (12) calendar months from the date the first ADO was accrued.
(b) All ADOs shall be taken on a day, which does not coincide with a public holiday. Another day determined by mutual agreement, in writing, between the employer and employee shall be taken in lieu thereof.
(c) For employees who are employed after 2nd January 1998, the hours of work will be 38 hours per week as agreed on engagement.
(d) Those staff accessing ADOs shall retain their ADOs if they transfer to other areas of the Hospital following November 9, 2000.

The Employer may introduce a 40 hour week, averaged over a fortnight during the life of this Agreement where the Employer has consulted with the Union in compliance with sub-clause 7.2 - Introduction of Change and where there is an agreement to do so between management and the majority of the affected employees.

The hours of work shall be scheduled from time to time to accommodate the operational requirements of the Department.
