Processing of Personal Data. 1.1. With regard to the Processing of Personal Data, You are the controller and determine the purposes and means of Processing of Personal Data You provide to Us (“Controller”) and You appoint Us as a processor (“Processor”) to process such Personal Data (hereinafter, “Data”) on Your behalf (hereinafter, “Processing”).

All personal data must be processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation). Such data must be processed by the data controller (DZS) solely for implementing, managing and monitoring the Agreement or to protect the financial interests of the EEA Financial Mechanism, including checks, audits and investigations. The individuals have the right to access and rectify their own personal data. For this purpose, they must send any queries to the data controller (DZS). They may have recourse at any time to the European Data Protection Supervisor. DZS specifies personal data protection in the documents: ‘Principles of Personal Data Protection at the Centre for International Cooperation’ and at the ‘Notification of personal data processingavailable on the website xxx.xxx.xx/xx.
Processing of Personal Data. 8.1. Any personal data included in the contract must be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 and Decision No 1247/2020/EC. Such data must be processed by the data controller solely for the purposes of the implementation, management and monitoring of the contract (the Centre’s Legal Affairs Section - xxxxxxx@xxx.xxxxxx.xx and Workflow Management Section mailto:Xxxxxxxxx_Xxx@xxx.xxxxxx.xx)6. This does not affect its possible transmission to bodies entrusted with monitoring or inspection tasks in application of Union law. Files related to the implementation of the contract, including personal data, are retained in the archives for a period of five years from the date on which the European Parliament grants discharge for the budgetary year to which the documents relate.

These measures will protect against: unauthorised or unlawful Processing; accidental loss; and destruction or damage to the Personal Data; take reasonable steps to ensure the reliability of any Supplier Personnel that have access to the Personal Data; obtain prior written consent from the Authority to transfer the Personal Data to any sub-contractor for the provision of the Services or Additional Goods, Works and Services; ensure that any Supplier Personnel required to access the Personal Data are informed of the confidential nature of the Personal Data and they comply with the obligations in this Clause; ensure that the Supplier's Personnel do not publish, disclose or divulge any of the Personal Data to any third party, unless directed, in writing, to do so by the Customer; notify the Customer, within five (5) Working Days, if it receives: a request from a Data Subject to have access to the Personal Data (a Data Access Request); or a complaint or a request relating to the Customer’s obligations under the Data Protection Requirements; provide the Customer with full cooperation and assistance for any complaint or request made. This includes: providing the Customer with full details of the complaint or request; complying with a Data Access Request within the relevant timescales set out in the Data Protection Requirements and in accordance with the Customer’s instructions; providing the Customer with any Personal Data it holds in relation to a Data Subject within the timescales required by the Customer; and providing the Customer with any information requested by the Customer; permit the Customer or its representatives (subject to obtaining reasonable and appropriate confidentiality undertakings), to: inspect and audit the Supplier’s, and those of its agents and subsidiaries, data Processing activities; and comply with all reasonable requests o...
