Personal Days Employee shall be entitled to three (3) personal days annually, pro-rated for any partial year of employment, the unused portion of which shall accumulate as sick days.
Court Leave With Pay Leave with pay shall be given to every employee, other than an employee already on leave without pay, on education leave, or under suspension who is required:
Leave With Pay Compassionate leave of absence with pay shall be granted for three (3) work days. Up to two (2) additional days with pay shall be granted for travelling time when this is warranted in the judgement of the Employer.
Personal Day All employees shall receive a personal day in each contract year. This personal day is in addition to the holidays listed in paragraph 3 above. The personal day shall be scheduled in accordance with the following provision: Employees may select such day off on five (5) days notice to the Employer provided such selection does not result in a reduction of employees in the building below 75% of the normal work staff. Such selection shall be made in accordance with seniority.
Bereavement Leave With Pay For the purpose of this clause, immediate family is defined as father, mother, xxxxxx parent, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, spouse (including common-law spouse resident with the employee), child (including child of common-law spouse), xxxx of the employee, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, step relatives and relative(s) permanently residing in the employee’s household or with whom the employee permanently resides.
VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.
SICK LEAVE WITH PAY Sick leave with pay for employees shall be determined in the following manner:
Personal Leave With Pay Full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use up to a maximum of six days personal leave with pay per year provided that such days shall be charged against the employee's currently accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.
