Personal Days Off With Pay. 27.04 In addition to the days off with pay provided in Section 27.01, each Full-time employee with five (5) years or more of net credited service, will be granted four (4) days off with pay for personal needs, at her basic rate of pay for the day. These personal days off with pay will be granted between June 1st of the current year and May 31st of the following year.

Personal Days Off With Pay. Effective January 1, 2014 and in recognition to long service Employees, those Employees achieving the years of service listed below, shall receive, every calendar year and including the calendar year in which they achieve the designated years of service listed below, to take the corresponding Personal Days off with pay. These Personal Days off with pay will not be carried over from calendar year to calendar year. The Personal Days off with pay shall be approved by their Supervisor and such approval shall not be unreasonably denied. Part Time Employees who are entitled to these Personal Days off with pay will have their pay calculated as per clause 17.03 (b). Personal Days off with pay entitlement shall be as follows: 20 years of service to 24 years of service 2 days 25 years of service to 27 years of service 3 days 28 years of service and more 5 days ARTICLE 18 - VACATIONS‌

  • Personal Days Employee shall be entitled to three (3) personal days annually, pro-rated for any partial year of employment, the unused portion of which shall accumulate as sick days.

  • Court Leave With Pay Leave with pay shall be given to every employee, other than an employee already on leave without pay, on education leave, or under suspension who is required:

  • Leave With Pay Compassionate leave of absence with pay shall be granted for three (3) work days. Up to two (2) additional days with pay shall be granted for travelling time when this is warranted in the judgement of the Employer.

  • Personal Day All employees shall receive a personal day in each contract year. This personal day is in addition to the holidays listed in paragraph 3 above. The personal day shall be scheduled in accordance with the following provision: Employees may select such day off on five (5) days notice to the Employer provided such selection does not result in a reduction of employees in the building below 75% of the normal work staff. Such selection shall be made in accordance with seniority.

  • Bereavement Leave With Pay For the purpose of this clause, immediate family is defined as father, mother (or alternatively stepfather, stepmother or xxxxxx parent), brother, sister, spouse (including common-law spouse resident with the employee), child (including child of common-law spouse), stepchild or xxxx of the employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and relative permanently residing in the employee’s household or with whom the employee permanently resides.

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.

  • SICK LEAVE WITH PAY Sick leave with pay for employees shall be determined in the following manner:

  • Personal Leave With Pay With prior notification, full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use a maximum of six (6) days personal leave with pay per year, provided that such days shall be charged against the employee’s current accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.

  • Other Leave with Pay The Employer may grant leave with pay for purposes other than those specified in this Agreement, including military or civil defence training, and emergencies affecting the community or place of work.

  • Personnel Selection Leave With Pay Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process, including the appeal process where applicable, for a position in the Public Service or in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, as defined in the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the employee is entitled to leave with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Employer considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
