The contributed credits shall be deposited in a Sick Leave Bank to be jointly administered by the partiesthrough a Sick Leave Bank Administrative Committee Committee). An employee who suffers an illness, injury or disability which necessitates absence from work shall be entitled to be paid sick leave in accordance with the provisions of Article of the Collective Agreement. An employee, who exhausts all accumulated personal credits and who remains unable to returnto work, may make application to the Sick Leave Bank Administrative Committee to have further leave compensated by the expenditure of credits from the Group Sick Leave Bank until such time as the employee is fit to return to work or qualifies for Long Term Disability Benefits.

  • Rostered Day Off 3.5.1 Any employee who by the circumstances of the arrangement of their ordinary hours of work is entitled to a rostered day off which falls on a public holiday prescribed by this clause shall, by mutual agreement, be paid for that day seven hours thirty six minutes at ordinary rates or have an additional day added to his/her annual leave, or shall be allowed to take the day off on an alternative weekday. Provided that where in the case of a shift worker the holiday on which he is rostered off falls on a Saturday or Sunday, this provision shall not apply.

  • Work on Day Off Full-time nurses called in on their regularly scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½x) times the regular rate of pay for the hours worked.

  • Thirty Day Payments Upon receipt of a billing statement that complies with all invoice requirements set forth in this Article, the State shall make a good faith effort to pay the amount which is due and payable within thirty (30) days.

  • Holidays on Day Off When any of the above noted holidays fall on an employee's scheduled day off for those employees who work other than the normal work week, Monday to Friday, inclusive, the employee shall receive another day off with pay at a time mutually agreed upon between the employee and the Employer.

  • Holiday Payment 4.1 Where an employee works on a holiday specified in Article 47 (Holidays) and opts for compensating leave under Article UN13.2 or COR13.2, he or she may elect, at that time, to receive, in addition to his or her entitlement under Article UN13.2 or COR13.2, further leave equal to the difference between the number of hours in the employee’s normal work day and his or her entitlement under Article UN13.2

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu.
