OVERTIME RATE FOR 6TH AND 7TH CONSECUTIVE DAYS WORKED. Employees shall be paid at the appropriate overtime rate for work on the sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) consecutive days of work. Notwithstanding the foregoing, employees who have a regular rotating schedule who take every second weekend off and take their alternate days off together, causing them to work a six (6) or seven (7) day stretch, are not entitled to overtime as listed in this Article unless they are called in or scheduled to work on one (1) or more of their regularly scheduled days off. An employee who will not get full time hours for the week may agree to work at the straight time rate.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

  • Consecutive Days Off The Employer shall schedule consecutive days off for all full-time employees except where a full-time employee requests otherwise. Where possible, part-time employees shall have consecutive days off every second week. Where it can be demonstrated by the Shop Xxxxxxx, to the Employer’s satisfaction, that scheduling of consecutive days off can be accomplished without an adverse effect on the operation of the department, the Employer shall do so.

  • Consecutive Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by unpaid lunch periods.
