Consecutive Days Off definition

Consecutive Days Off. The Co-operative agrees to schedule every second (2nd) week, subject to the operational needs of the store, consecutive days off for all full-time employees and, that wherever practical, the Co-operative shall also schedule A.T.O. days with consecutive days off. Consecutive Day Limit: Full-time employees will not be required to work in excess of six (6) consecutive days. No part-time employee shall be required to work more than six (6) consecutive days. It is understood that there will not be any "available hours" claim involving a seventh (7th) or subsequent days of work.

Consecutive Days Off. The Employer shall schedule consecutive days off for Grid B full-time employees upon request and provided it will not interfere with the efficient operation of the store. Full-time Grid B Vacancies: Where a Grid B full-time position becomes vacant or available and the Employer intends to fill it, a job posting shall be posted in the store. Positions shall be filled by seniority provided the employee is able to perform the normal requirements of the job. If no employee from the classification is successful, the Employer will open the posting for Grid B employees in the store, in other classifications, to apply. These postings shall be awarded to the most senior Grid B employee with the skill and ability to perform the job.

  • Weeks Pay' means the ordinary time rate of pay for the employee concerned:

  • Week means seven consecutive days.

  • Twelve-Month Period means a twelve-month period ending on the first anniversary of the Effective Date or on each subsequent anniversary thereof.

  • Working Days means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales; and

  • Calendar means discrete temporal reference system that provides the basis for defining temporal position to a resolution of one day;

  • Forecast Period means the period of three calendar months for which a Forecast is provided;

  • Accrued Day(s) Off means the paid day(s) off accruing to an employee resulting from an entitlement to the 38 hour week as prescribed in Clause 6. - Hours of this award.

  • Period shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Schedule 8;

  • Days means calendar days.

  • Work Days means judicial days (or a day when the court is open).

  • Teaching days means days on which classes were engaged. Examination days are not to be included)

  • Working level month (WLM) means an exposure to 1 working level for 170 hours (2,000 working hours per year divided by 12 months per year is approximately equal to 170 hours per month).

  • A week means seven days without regard to the number of hours worked in any day in that week.

  • Year means a calendar year.

  • Vacation means annual vacation with pay.

  • Contract Year means each period of twelve (12) consecutive months during the Initial Term of this Agreement, with the first Contract Year commencing on the Effective Date, and with each subsequent Contract Year commencing on the anniversary of the Effective Date.

  • Day/Days means calendar days, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
