OVERTIME DEFINED AND TIME AND ONE-HALF. (a) Any authorized work performed after eight (8) hours in a working day or forty (40) hours in a scheduled week shall constitute overtime and shall be payable at the rate of time and one-half (1.5X) the classification rate. Overtime shall be calculated by rounding time worked to the nearest quarter hour once fifteen (15) minutes have been worked. However if an employee requests to switch a shift with another employee and causes over time, the employee will be paid at straight time.

OVERTIME DEFINED AND TIME AND ONE-HALF. AOvertime@ is defined as time worked by any employee, with the authorization of the Employer, in excess of forty eight (48) hours per week. Employees shall be paid at one and one-half times (1.5X) their regular rate for overtime work.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.

  • Term and Time of Performance The effective date of this Agreement shall begin on July 1, 2018 and will continue through June 30, 2023, subject to appropriation of funds, notwithstanding any other provision in this agreement.
