ORGANIZATION DUES DEDUCTION. The Treasurer of the district will deduct the total professional dues from any employee’s salary and forward same to the Organization, with the exception of the procedures set forth below, if the employee requests said deduction in writing by October 30 of each school year.

ORGANIZATION DUES DEDUCTION. 1. The District provides to employees the opportunity to have approved organization(s) dues withheld from the employees’ pay on a regular basis. An employee must sign an appropriate form authorizing such a deduction. The authorization shall continue in effect unless subsequent to June 1 and prior to September 1 of any year it is formally revoked by the employee. The written revocation shall be delivered to the group representative. The group representative shall notify the Payroll Office of the revocation. The deduction of membership dues upon the employee’s request shall be made in equal amounts from the employee’s pay following the receipt and processing of the request. The Board agrees to remit promptly to the respective group all moneys deducted and a list of employees from whom the deductions have been made. Approved organizations shall notify the District Payroll Office of any changes of address for submitting dues.

  • Association Dues Deduction ‌ When the Association provides written authorization to the Employer for deduction of membership dues, the Employer will deduct from the employee’s salary, an amount equal to the dues required to be a member of the Association, depending on their permanent or non-permanent dues rate. The Agency will provide payments for all said deductions to the Association each pay period.

  • Union Dues Deduction The Company will deduct union dues from new employees who have worked a minimum of forty (40) hours.

  • Membership Dues Deduction Any unit member who is a member of the Teachers 20 Association of Long Beach, CTA-NEA, or who has applied for membership, may 21 pay a lump sum cash payment to the Association or sign and deliver to the District 22 an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees and 23 general assessments in the Association.   • PROFESSIONAL DUES OR FEES AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS 5.1 Any unit member who is a member of the Association, or who has applied for membership, may sign and deliver to the District an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees, and general assessments of the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the District shall deduct one-tenth of such dues from the regular salary check of the bargaining unit member each month for ten (10) months. Deductions for bargaining unit members who sign such authorization after the commencement of the school year shall be appropriately pro-rated to complete payments by the end of the school year.

  • When Deductions Begin Check-Off deductions under all properly executed Authorization for Check-Off of Dues forms shall become effective at the time the application is signed by the employee and shall be deducted monthly prior to the 15th.

  • LOCAL AND BCTF DUES DEDUCTION 1.
