Notice and Redeployment Committee. (a) In the event of a proposed layoff at the Hospital of a permanent or long- term nature or the elimination of a position within the bargaining unit, the Hospital shall: provide the Union with no less than five (5) months’ written notice of the proposed layoff or elimination of position; and provide to the affected if any, who will be laid off with no less than five (5) months’ written notice of layoff, or pay in lieu thereof.

  • Redeployment Committee At each Hospital a Redeployment Committee will be established not later than two (2) weeks after the notice referred to in 9.08 and will meet thereafter as frequently as is necessary.

  • Procedures of the Joint Committee 1. For the proper implementation of this Agreement, the Joint Committee shall meet at an appropriate level whenever necessary upon request but at least once a year. Either Party may request a meeting be held.

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Association-Management Committee There shall be an Association-Management Committee comprised of two (2) nurse representatives and the Employer representatives. The Committee shall meet every two months unless otherwise mutually agreed. Agenda items to be discussed shall be exchanged in writing at least five calendar days prior to the meeting. Meetings of this Committee will be to discuss matters of mutual concern, matters relating to the Employer nursing or matters relating to the interpretation or administration of the Agreement. The Committee shall promote and provide for effective and meaningful communication.

  • Joint Union/Management Committee It shall be appropriate for either the Union or the University to request that a Joint Union/Management committee be convened, with Environmental Health and Safety as a participating member, to discuss health and safety concerns and to explore options for addressing those concerns through appropriate training or other approaches.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of two (2) members of the Association one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate and two (2) representatives of the Hospital one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and one human resources representative.

  • Executive Committee (A) The Executive Committee shall be composed of not more than nine members who shall be selected by the Board of Directors from its own members and who shall hold office during the pleasure of the Board.

  • The Joint Committee 1. A Joint Committee is hereby established in which each Contracting Party shall be represented.
