Elimination of Position. Whenever a regular, or regular relief position is eliminated, the Deck Officer displaced thereby shall have the absolute right to exercise the Deck Officer’s seniority in selecting a new assignment of the Deck Officer’s choosing, thereby displacing a less senior Deck Officer; and any Deck Officer himself/herself displaced by such an exercise of seniority, shall have the same absolute right to so exercise the Deck Officer’s seniority in displacing other less senior Deck Officers; and whenever an extended temporary position is eliminated, the Deck Officer displaced thereby shall have the absolute right to return to the regular position or assignment from which the Deck Officer was promoted, or bump into another extended temporary assignment allowed by their seniority. Whenever an extended temporary position is completed, the Deck Officer completing such position shall have the absolute right to return to the last regular position or assignment from which the Deck Officer was promoted or transferred.
Elimination of Position. Except as provided in Sections 3 or 4 below, if the termination of Participant’s employment results from the Company’s elimination of the position held by Participant, then Participant will continue to have the right to exercise the Option with respect to that portion of the Number of Shares for which the Option was vested and exercisable on the date of Participant’s termination of employment and the remaining portion shall be forfeited and cancelled. Except as provided in Subsection 2(d)(iv)(A) below, the right to exercise the vested portion of the Option will continue until the earlier of the last day of the one-year period commencing on the date of termination of employment, or the Expiration Date.
Elimination of Position. In the event the employee’s position is eliminated during the time the employee is on leave, he or she will be notified and provided a time period in which to exercise any rights available pursuant to ARTICLE 21 – LAYOFF.

Elimination of Position. Employment may be terminated immediately upon elimination of the EPSS employee’s position, and all contractual obligations to the employee cease on the employee’s last day of employment. The grievance procedure does not apply to termination of employment due to elimination of a position.
Elimination of Position. The Board will notify the Chapter Chairperson within five (5) working days when a bargaining unit position becomes vacant and the Board does not plan to fill the position with another person.
Elimination of Position. Employee involved will be notified, in writing, about elimination of position at least thirty (30) calendar days in advance of such action. Employee, at time of letter, will also be informed of any vacancies which exist at that time; and said employee shall have an opportunity to accept any such vacancy for which they are qualified within five (5) working days. If employee does not accept the vacancy which exists, the employee is eligible to bump a less senior employee, providing they have the ability and qualifications to perform the duties of the new position. If employee chooses, they may go on a voluntary layoff (benefits held in abeyance), subject to the same procedures stated above under Article VIII, paragraph D, "Layoffs."
Elimination of Position. The Board may require elimination or curtailment of a public service activity if the Board determines it is in the public interest. Such Board action may result in the layoff of one or more employees. The following procedure is intended to provide consideration to seniority of service.
Elimination of Position. If a position at a school site is to be eliminated for reasons other than those specified elsewhere in the Agreement, it will be the position occupied by the employee with the least District seniority in the affected job classification.
Elimination of Position. An employee whose position has been eliminated from building/worksite shall have the following options:
