Common use of Notice and Redeployment Committee Clause in Contracts

Notice and Redeployment Committee. (a) In the event of a proposed layoff at the Hospital of a permanent or long-term nature or the eliminationof a position within the bargaining unit, the Hospital shall: provide the Union with no less than six (6) months Written notice of the proposed layoff or elimination of position; and provide to the affected if any, no less than six (6) months Written notice of layoff, or pay in lieu thereof.
