Normal Weekday Daytime Hours of Work. The normal weekday daytime shift for bargaining unit employees shall be 37.5 working hours consisting of five (5) consecutive daily shifts of 7.5 working hours each, commencing Monday at 8:00 a.m. Any hours of work outside of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday will be paid a premium in accordance with Article 6.03. Employees shall be paid a salary bi-weekly equal to 75 times their hourly rate as stipulated in Appendix “B”. There shall be no loss of salary if the employer does not schedule work for the full 37.5-hour week, unless the employee has been laid off. Employees will receive an unpaid 30 minutes meal break and two paid rest breaks up to 15 minutes.

  • Normal Hours of Work 6.01 The normal work day is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at 12:00 Midnight.

  • Standard Hours of Work 4.2.1 The standard hours of work shall be defined as regularly scheduled twenty-four (24) hours per week or less averaged over each bi-weekly pay period.

  • Ordinary Hours of Work The ordinary hours of work will be worked any time between 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Ordinary hours of work may be varied by agreement between the Employer and the majority of the employees concerned and the ETU State Secretary (via the relevant full time ETU Official) to accommodate the hours or work required for the most efficient and safe operation of the Employer and the requirements of its client. Where agreement is reached to work alternate hours, occupational health and safety principles will prevail. Proper health monitoring procedures will be introduced and suitable rosters clearly agreed prior to commencing work. Adequate supervision must always be provided. Matters on which agreement may be reached include:

  • 00 - HOURS OF WORK 14.01 The Employer does not guarantee to provide work to any employee for regularly assigned hours or any other hours, except as provided for in Article 18.00. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a normal day of work. The normal hours of work shall be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for an eight (8) hour day, with one-half or one hour for lunch at the midpoint of the shift.   • Regular Hours of Work (a) Regular hours of work for Full-time Employees, exclusive of meal periods shall be:
