Non-casual Employees. An Employee (other than a casual) employed under Band A, B or C of the Agreement who is required to perform additional hours in excess of the Employee's ordinary hours of work (including all work on Saturday and Sunday) will accumulate TIL at the rate of one and a half hours per hour worked (1.5:1) for the first two (2) additional hours, and at the rate of two hours per hour worked (2:1) thereafter. Alternatively, the Employee may elect to accrue no TIL for those hours but instead be paid for those hours at the applicable accumulation rate.

  • Casual Employees A casual employee is one who is not regularly scheduled to work other than during periods that such employee shall relieve a regular full-time or regular part-time employee. Casual employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to such benefits as are contained in the “Addendum - Casual Employees”.

  • Essential Employees Every employee designated as “essential,” shall receive notice of such designation each year, by October 31, in accordance with N.J.A.C. 4A:6-2. Notice of such designations will also be provided to the Union.

  • Provisional Employees A second year Provisional classroom teacher who receives a summative rating of 3- Proficient or 4- Distinguished may be granted continuing contract status for the subsequent school year at the district’s discretion.

  • Potential Employees The Employer agrees to acquaint potential Employees with the fact that a Union Agreement is in effect, and with the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with Union Security and Dues Check-Off.
