Master Teacher/Mentor Sample Clauses

Master Teacher/Mentor. The parties recognize the requirement of the School Code to provide a master teacher as a mentor to a beginning teacher during the first three years of classroom teaching. The purpose of the mentor/mentee assignment is to acclimate the new teacher to his/her profession and provide necessary assistance towards attaining quality instruction. The mentor/mentee relationship is intended to be a collaborative growth experience.

  • Mentor Teachers A. A Mentor Teacher shall be defined as a Master Teacher as identified in section 1526 of the School Code and shall perform the duties of a Master Teacher as specified in the code.
