Mentor the role of the mentor is to provide support, encouragement and information to the trainee on the life and experience relative to the enterprise (culture of the enterprise, informal codes and conducts, etc.). Normally, the mentor should be a different person than the supervisor.
Mentoring An increasing number of jurisdictions are expressing interest in being part of one or more international agreements that have as their main purpose the international benchmarking of engineering education or engineering practice standards. Accord signatories, when requested by the Committee, are willing to provide support, advice and guidance through a mentoring system to jurisdictions that are anticipating making formal application for provisional status or applying for upgrading to signatory of an Accord. The management of mentoring arrangements shall conform with any policy approved by the International Engineering Alliance in regard to risks to the safety and security of mentors.
Holdings The term "Holdings" shall have the meaning set forth in the preface.
Management Grievance The Employer may initiate a grievance at Step 3 of the grievance procedure by the Employer or designate presenting the grievance to the President of the Union or designate. Time limits and process are identical to a union grievance.
MANAGEMENT GRIEVANCES 8.01 It is understood that the Management may at any time file a grievance with the staff representative of the Union and request a meeting with him to discuss any complaint with respect to the conduct of the Union, its officers or committee member, in its relationships with the Company or other employees or with respect to any complaint that there has been a violation of any contractual obligation undertaken by the Union, and that if such grievance by the Management is not settled to the mutual satisfaction of the conferring parties it may be referred to arbitration as set forth in Article VII above.

Failure to Maintain Financial Viability The System Agency may terminate the Contract if, in its sole discretion, the System Agency has a good faith belief that Grantee no longer maintains the financial viability required to complete the services and Deliverables, or otherwise fully perform its responsibilities under the Contract.
