Length of Absence. All absences shall be considered as a single period of disability unless acceptable evidence is furnished that the cause of the latest disability cannot be connected with the causes of any of the prior disabilities.

Length of Absence. 44 Upon recommendation of the immediate supervisor through administrative channels to the 45 Superintendent, and upon approval of the Board of Directors, an employee may be granted a leave 46 of absence for a period not to exceed one (1) year. If such leave is granted due to extended illness, 47 one (1) additional year may be granted.
