Leave fares. 4.1. An employee may be entitled to leave fares in accordance with Table A of this Schedule 3, which accrues on a yearly (annual) basis, or every two years (biennial).

Leave fares. An employee may be entitled to leave fares in accordance with Table A of this Schedule 3, which accrues on a yearly (annual) basis, or every two years (biennial). An annual leave fare will lapse two years from the date the leave fare accrued, and a biennial leave fare will lapse four years from the date the leave fare accrued. An employee who has completed probation may elect to receive their leave fare as a cash payment. This election may be made at any time. Once an election has been made, all future entitlements will be processed as a cash payment on accrual. Cash payments will be made in accordance with the rates specified in Table A of this Schedule 3 will be grossed up to reflect the tax rate applicable to the employee’s annual salary. Air-conditioning subsidy An employee residing in a Commonwealth dwelling is entitled to an air-conditioning subsidy in accordance with Table A of this Schedule 3. Other fares assistance An employee will be entitled to:

  • Sick Leave Use Sick leave will be charged in one-tenth (1/10th) of an hour increments and may be used for the following reasons:

  • Leave Loading 10.2 The employer and the individual employee must have genuinely made the agreement without coercion or duress.

  • Leave Year The leave year begins with the first full payroll period of a calendar year and ends with the payroll period in which December 31st falls.

  • Sick Leave Abuse ‌ When the Employer suspects sick leave abuse, the employee will be provided the opportunity to explain the circumstances surrounding their sick leave use prior to disciplining the employee, or making reference to sick leave use in the employee’s performance evaluation. The Employer may not adopt or enforce any policy that counts the use of paid sick leave time as an absence that may lead to or result in disciplinary action for an authorized purpose. The Employer may not discriminate or retaliate against an employee for the use of paid sick leave for an authorized purpose.

  • Sick Leave Usage A. Sick leave may be used for an employee or an employee's child, spouse or parent's illness or injury, hospitalization and appointment pertaining to health.

  • Leave Donation An employee may donate vacation leave, sick leave, or personal holiday to another employee for purposes of the leave sharing program under the following conditions:

  • Sick Leave Donations Employees in the Unit as well as officers above the rank of sergeant and other non-bargaining unit employees in the Police Department may donate sick leave for the purpose of providing authorized sick leave to any Unit member who has exhausted all accrued annual, compensatory and sick leave. Sick leave means leave earned under Section A. of this Article. The procedures governing donation of sick leave followed in implementing the Sick Leave Donor Program established by the predecessor Agreement between the parties shall remain in effect, except as provided in Section P of this Article. Where the FOP has an established leave donation agreement with another bargaining unit within Xxxxxxxxxx County, the employer agrees to honor the agreement pursuant to the applicable contractual requirements of the bargaining unit and transfer sick leave as requested.   • Sick Leave Allowance Faculty with a full-time assignment shall accrue sick leave at the rate of eight

  • Sick Leave During Leave of Absence (F/T) When an Employee is given leave of absence without pay for any reason, or is laid off on account of lack of work, he/she shall not continue to accumulate sick leave and shall not be entitled to receive pay for sickness for the period of such absence, but shall retain his/her cumulative credit, if any, existing at the time of such leave or lay-off.
