L16. 02.03 In those cases where a separate work function is not established, the Company shall make every reasonable effort to equitably distribute the performance of these tasks/duties amongst the employees in the location who volunteer to perform such tasks/duties and who possess the necessary qualifications.
L16. 1.1 The Board shall maintain a roster of occasional teachers the maximum number of which shall not exceed thirty-five percent (35%) of the number of FTE elementary teachers from the approved Elementary Staffing Form B on May 31, excluding occasional teachers who have been approved for a long term leave of absence, long-term occasional teachers and part-time elementary teachers of .5 or greater.
L16. 3.1 The Board will correspond by email, by May 1st, with each Occasional Teacher on the Roster asking them to confirm continuation on the Roster the following year. Failure to respond by June 1st will result in the occasional teacher’s name being removed from the Roster. The Board shall notify the Local President of any individual who has not responded by May 15th.
L16. 4.9 Occasional Teachers shall notify Human Resources Services of the Board and the Local, in writing, of any change of address and/or telephone number required by the Board to contact the Occasional Teacher regarding teaching assignments.
L16. 1.1 The allocation of the number of Positions of Added Responsibility (PAR) and allowances to secondary schools shall be the responsibility of the Joint Secondary Staffing Committee. The Committee shall use the funding formula to determine the number of PAR using the Board-approved projected average daily enrolment (ADE) for students under twenty-one years of age and for students twenty-one years of age and over.

  • Safety Shoes 3901 Employees who are required to wear steel-toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase and/or replacement of these shoes in the first quarter of each year. Any employee out on an authorized leave shall receive payment within thirty days of their return to paid duty. New employees who are required to wear steel- toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase of shoes in their first paycheck; for employees hired on or after December 1, he/she shall not receive an additional $200 in the following February.

  • Safety Boots Each employee, after 3 months’ continuous service, will be reimbursed (on production of a receipt), the cost of one pair of safety boots (approved by the employer), in each year, to a maximum of $110.00. Wet Weather All protective clothing such as wet weather jackets, safety helmets, welding jackets, welding xxxxxxx, welding gauntlets, rubber boots, etc, (which remain the property of the Company), will be supplied on all occasions deemed necessary.
