JOB STEWARDS AND UNION REPRESENTATIVES. 12.01 On all projects, a xxxxxxx will be the first placement in their classification. When a vacancy is created by a job xxxxxxx leaving the project, for any reason, that position will be immediately filled by another designated job xxxxxxx selected by the Union or dispatched by the Union.

JOB STEWARDS AND UNION REPRESENTATIVES. 11.01 The Union will appoint Job Stewards and they shall be recognized on all jobs covered by this Agreement and they shall not be discriminated against. One Job Xxxxxxx only shall be recognized as the spokesman for the Union on any one job. The Union will notify the Employer in writing of the name of the Job Xxxxxxx who is to be recognized as spokesman and any change thereof. The Job Xxxxxxx shall not be terminated in his classification except on job completion (no other employees remain employed within such classification) or, if terminated for cause, in which case such cause shall be stated in writing to the Union within seven (7) working days of such termination. The members on a job site may elect Shop Stewards whose duties will be to assist the Job Xxxxxxx.

  • Parties’ Representatives Both Parties shall ensure that throughout the term of this Agreement, a duly appointed Representative is available for communications between the Parties. The Representatives shall have full authority to deal with all day-to-day matters arising under this Agreement. If a Party’s Representative becomes unavailable, the Party shall promptly appoint another Representative. Acts and omissions of Representatives shall be deemed to be acts and omissions of the Party.   • Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Employer in advance whenever the designated representatives of the Union intend to visit the Employer’s premises for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the worksite. Reasonable accommodation will be made to allow the Presidents of the Unions to have access to union members to conduct union business.

  • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Contractor’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project manager shall notify the Contractor in writing of such action. The Contractor shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.   • Union Stewards The Hospital agrees to recognize Union stewards to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement. A Chief Xxxxxxx or designate may, in the absence of any xxxxxxx, assist in the presentation of any grievance, or with any xxxxxxx function. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of Union stewards appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. When resuming his regular duties and responsibilities, such xxxxxxx shall again report to his immediate supervisor. A Union xxxxxxx shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent in performing the above duties during his regular scheduled working hours. Nothing in this Article shall preclude full-time stewards from representing part-time employees and vice-versa. The number of stewards and the areas which they represent, are to be determined locally."
