Investigative Assistance. The Contractor shall assist any investigative unit of a Purchasing Entity concerning alleged wrongdoing or suspected fraud or abuse by any Driver or by Purchasing Entities doing business with the Contractor. Reciprocal assistance from the Purchasing Entity with regard to investigations will be provided to the Contractor.

Investigative Assistance. 8.1 If the ICAC reasonably believes that it is necessary to have the opinion of a market expert during the conduct of its investigation, it may request the SFC to assist. The SFC will offer assistance subject to the availability of its in- house market experts or will recommend potential independent experts who may be available to assist the ICAC.
Investigative Assistance. 8.1 Each party will consider requests from the other party for investigative assistance on a case-by-case basis.

If the SFC has reasonable grounds to believe that a person has committed an offence under any laws administered by it (see paragraph 2.3) and the SFC has obtained a warrant to arrest from the Magistrates Court, it may request the HKP for help to arrest the person. The HKP will assist the SFC if the SFC has produced to the HKP a warrant to arrest issued by the Magistrates’ Court.
Investigative Assistance. 9.1 If the FRC has obtained a warrant to search, and if it reasonably believes that there will be a credible threat to the safety of the relevant FRC staff, the HKP will, if permitted under the warrant, render reasonable assistance to the FRC in the execution of the warrant in accordance with the terms of the warrant and applicable law.

  • Study Assistance An employee who is approved by Australia Post as a student to undertake a course of study or a short course of instruction may be granted reimbursement in full or in part of fees incurred for the course.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.

  • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Criminal Background Investigations For investigative Vendor Staff, Citizens will accept a copy of a current Class C Private Investigator license as proof that a criminal background check has been conducted for that investigator. For all other Vendor Staff, Vendor must provide Citizens with a copy of a criminal background check performed on such Vendor Staff dated within thirty (30) days of submission of the Vendor Staff to Citizens for qualification and credentialing review. Vendor shall use Exhibit D, Applicant Background Review Guide to as a guideline to determine eligibility of Vendor Staff to perform Services. The criminal background check must be updated every two (2) years thereafter. All background checks will be at Vendor’s expense and, unless otherwise approved in writing by Citizens’ Contract Manager, shall include but not be limited to: (a) state and federal felony convictions or pending adjudications; (b) state and federal misdemeanor convictions or pending adjudications; (c) any crimes in violation of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1995 or pending adjudications; and, (d) a seven (7) year minimum timeframe, extending as close as practicable to the date of Assignment to perform Services. Vendor will advise Citizens’ Contract Manager or designee if it knows of any Vendor Staff that has a criminal conviction (misdemeanor or felony), regardless of adjudication (adjudication withheld, a plea of guilty or nolo contendere, or a guilty verdict), within the last ten (10) years in any jurisdiction. Vendor shall not allow that individual to act as a Vendor Staff until Vendor determines whether that individual should be allowed to do so considering (a) the nature and gravity of the offense; (b) the amount of time that lapsed since the offense;

  • Cooperation with Investigations You agree to cooperate with us in the investigation of unusual transactions, poor quality transmissions, and resolution of customer claims, including by providing, upon request and without further cost, any originals or copies of items deposited through the Service in your possession and your records relating to such items and transmissions.

  • Education Assistance The lay-off may be eligible to apply for this option if:

  • Emergency Assistance Both Parties shall exercise due diligence to avoid or mitigate an Emergency to the extent practical in accordance with applicable requirements imposed by the Standards Authority or contained in the PJM Tariffs and NYISO Tariffs. In avoiding or mitigating an Emergency, both Parties shall strive to allow for commercial remedies, but if commercial remedies are not successful or practical, the Parties agree to be the suppliers of last resort to maintain reliability on the system. For each hour during which Emergency conditions exist in a Party’s Balancing Authority Area, that Party (while still ensuring operations within applicable Reliability Standards) shall determine what commercial remedies are available and make use of those that are practical and needed to avoid or mitigate the Emergency before any Emergency Energy is scheduled in that hour.

  • Employee Assistance Drug and alcohol counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance are available from or through the Employer’s employee assistance program provider(s) (E.A.P.).
