Holiday and Vacation Days. Administrators shall not be on duty July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Memorial Day, which are national holidays. The Friday after Thanksgiving, the day before Christmas, the day before New Year's Day, July 3rd, and Good Friday shall be construed as holidays. These non-duty days will be paid for administrators with contracts in effect on the holiday(s). Administrators with a contract less than 250 days shall not be paid for July 3rd. In addition to the above listed days, effective July 1, 2014, Administrators shall have Vacation Days (paid time off) in the following amount: (Increase in days for Elementary and WMS Assistant effective 7/1/16) Assistant Principal WMS Elementary Principal Assistant Principal WSHS/WALC* WMS Principal WSHS Principal *WALC Asst. Principal: Number of days may vary depending on summer school responsibilities. Non-Contract Days should be in a block to include the month of July. Vacation is available at the start of the contract year; however, if an administrator leaves employment during the contract year, vacation accrual for that year will be prorated. Unused vacation must be taken within twelve months after the end of the contract year in which it is earned. The administrator shall forfeit any unused vacation days in excess of the allowable carryover. Upon retirement or resignation of employment, administrators shall be entitled to full payment for any unused vacation days accrued and earned pursuant to the provisions of this paragraph.

  • Vacation Days Employee shall be entitled to the same paid vacation days each calendar year during the term of this Employee Agreement as authorized by the Company for its other employees.

  • HOLIDAYS AND VACATION Executive shall be eligible for paid holiday and vacation time in accordance with Company policy as in effect from time to time and made available to Company’s senior management employees.

  • Unused Vacation ASF Members may accumulate unused vacation to any amount provided that once during each fiscal year each ASF Member's accumulation must be reduced to two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours or less, unless the President determines that the ASF Member is unable to utilize vacation leave because of the requirements of the individual’s assignment or because of physical incapacity. This reduction must be accomplished on or before last day of the fiscal year. If this reduction is not accomplished on or before the last day of the fiscal year, the ASF Member’s accumulation shall automatically be reduced to two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours effective on the last day of the fiscal year, and the amount of accumulation over two hundred and seventy-five (275) hours will transfer to the ASF Member’s bank of lapsed sick leave (See Article 18, section C, Subd.2). Vacation leave accrued during the pay period that includes the last day of a fiscal year, will be credited to each ASF Member’s balance after deductions are made for vacation used and/or reduced pursuant this Subdivision.

  • Banked Vacation Once every five years an employee may bank one full year's vacation to be taken in conjunction with the next year's vacation. For the purposes of this clause, all vacation in the second year must be taken concurrently.

  • Paid Vacation Except as otherwise provided in this Article, paid vacation shall be granted no longer than the fiscal year immediately following the fiscal year in which it is earned.

  • VACATIONS AND VACATION PAY 9.01 All employees who are covered under this Agreement shall receive vacation pay as a percent of the employee's total earnings exclusive of the Employer's contribution to the Union's Pension, Health Benefit Plan, Education and Assistance Fund and Industry Fund. Income tax shall be deducted weekly from the employee's earnings increased by the amount of vacation pay.

  • STATUTORY HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS If statutory holidays, to which an employee is entitled with pay, occur within his or her vacation period, the employee shall be granted an additional day's vacation for each in lieu thereof.
