Health Fund Study and Savings Com- mittee. The parties agree to create a study committee, whose members shall be appointed in even num- bers by the Business Manager of the Union and the President of the RAB, to evaluate the Local 94-94A- 94B Health and Benefit Fund (the “Health Fund”) benefits and operations, with the goal being to rec- ommend to the Trustees’ ways for the Health Fund to continuously save money on medical administra- tive and other costs associated with the Health Fund while maintaining high quality of care for Health Fund participants. The bargaining parties agree to take all legal action necessary so that (i) the Health Fund reserves do not fall below an amount equiva- lent to no less than twelve (12) full months of benefit costs and operating/administrative expenses; (ii) such measures shall be modified only by unanimous agreement of the Trustees; and (iii) such measures are made with the intent of being permanent and within the purposes of the aforementioned cost savings. The provisions of the prior sentence shall continue to apply to any new recommended savings measures that are implemented by the Health Fund pursuant to this Section. The Health Fund Study and Savings Committee shall meet regularly, and on an ongoing basis, to continue to monitor and review Health Fund expenditures and trends, to evaluate and consider best practices and developments in cost-effective methods of providing quality benefits for the purposes of continuing to ensure that substan- tial savings are being realized and to recommend any and all appropriate measures to contain, modify or modulate cost-trends, and to make recommenda- tions to the collective bargaining parties and/or Fund Trustees regarding potential actions including, with- out limitation, for further savings such as Employee contributions to healthcare premiums. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Health Fund Study and Savings Committee will meet regularly once a quarter to review a report from the Health Fund staff and consultants of material items of Fund revenues and expenses for the prior six-month pe- riod and anything else deemed appropriate by Fund staff and consultants. In addition, the Health Fund staff and consultants will also notify the Health Fund Study Committee as soon as possible upon the occurrence of any extraordinary event(s) or other in- formation that is reasonably likely to have a material adverse effect on the revenues and/or expenses of the Fund in the future (“Extraordinary Event”), and the Health Fund Study and S...

  • Joint Benefits Committee In order to achieve benefit cost reductions, or at a minimum, cost containment, the parties agree to establish and aggressively participate in a Joint Benefits Committee. The parties agree that the Joint Benefits Committee shall explore all potential options or changes that could generate cost reductions to the Benefit Plans with the following order of priorities:

  • Benefits Committee As per LOA#10, a benefits committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, shall convene upon request to address all matters that may arise in the operation of the OSSTF ELHT.

  • Curriculum Committee The Curriculum Committee shall consist of sixteen (16) members of the bargaining unit, three (3) students, and three (3) administrators; provided, however, that in the case of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, the Curriculum Committee shall be composed of ten (10) members of the bargaining unit, two (2) students, and two (2) administrators.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Health & Safety Committee The Employer agrees to establish a Health & Safety Committee for all employees of the company under the auspices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The Committee shall be made up of an equal number (not less than one each) of non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit persons who have completed their probationary period. The Union has the right to appoint the members representing the bargaining unit. The Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings and post them in the shop. One copy will be forwarded to the Union office.

  • CENTRAL LABOUR RELATIONS COMMITTEE C4.1 OPSBA, the Crown and OSSTF agree to establish a joint Central Labour Relations Committee to promote and facilitate communication between rounds of bargaining on issues of joint interest.

  • Union Grievance Committee (a) The Employer shall recognize a Union Grievance Committee which consists of:

  • Study Committee The parties shall utilize the Benefits Advisory Committee, with equal membership by the State and the VSEA, for the purpose of reviewing all issues related to health care and prescription drugs, and recommending changes to the bargaining committees. The parties shall also establish a special study committee to evaluate the current health plans, and make recommendations to the bargaining committees of the State and employees for sustainable savings in the health care plans.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. The Xxxxxxx shall assist any Employee, which the Xxxxxxx represents, in preparing and presenting her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.
