Hazard Analysis Sample Clauses

Hazard Analysis. A hazard analysis consists of identifying, screening and profiling each hazard. To complete the step of hazard identification and screening URS will: ▪ Illustrate how hazards were chosen for inclusion in the MHMP Update; inclusion will be based upon the following questions: ⯈ Is the hazard included in the 2008 MHMP? ⯈ Is the hazard included in the County’s General Plan? ⯈ Has the hazard occurred in the County and been associated with recent State and Presidential declarations? ⯈ Is the hazard identified in the 2010 California Multi-Hazard State Mitigation Plan? A hazard profile discusses the nature, history, location, extent and probability of future events for each hazard. To complete hazard profiles for each identified hazard URS will: ▪ Explain the nature of each hazard in general ▪ Note the locations of Mendocino County that are susceptible to each hazard ▪ Discuss the history of each hazard in Mendocino County, ensuring all history since the 2008 MHMP is captured ▪ Address the extent to which each hazard can affect the County ▪ Discuss the percent probability of each hazard occurring in Mendocino County’s future, based upon historical occurrences and/or relevant studies ▪ Develop/update hazard maps which illustrate historical and projected occurrences, and extent, when applicable
