Electrical appliances You agree: (a) only to use the cooking and/or other electrical kitchen equipment supplied by us in any shared kitchen and not to use any other cooking or heating appliances in the Accommodation (b) not to bring any electrical equipment into the Accommodation or Hall except for items that comply with the Electrical Safety Policy; and (c) to be responsible for ensuring that your own electrical equipment meets current Health and Safety standards. Any items you bring into the Accommodation must comply with the Electrical Safety Policy. 2.10.2

Electrical appliances You agree: (a) only to use the cooking and/or other electrical kitchen equipment in any shared kitchen and not to use any other cooking appliances in the Accommodation or Hall. You will also not bring or use a fridge within the Accommodation unless you have specifically sort consent for this; (b) not to tamper with or alter any electrical appliances/ items supplied by us; (c) to be responsible (as an ongoing responsibility) for ensuring that your own electrical equipment meets current Health and Safety standards before bringing the item into the Accommodation or the Hall and to ensure that each of your own electrical appliances is fitted with the correct fuse, only one appliance is wired to one plug and that you do not overload the electric power points; (d) we reserve the right to remove and test any of your electrical items if we suspect they may be faulty or unsafe and, if any items are faulty or unsafe you must permanently remove such items from the Halls (including the Accommodation); and (e) not to bring any halogen lamps/lights or heating appliances into the Halls (including the Accommodation) or any liquid or gaseous fuel, noxious or explosive substances or gas, paraffin or a gas heater or cooker (save for tanks of oxygen for which consent has been received). 2.10.2
Electrical appliances You agree: (a) To use either cooking and/or other electrical kitchen equipment supplied by us or your own cooking and/or other electrical kitchen equipment (provided that it complies with 2.10.1(b) below and is not prohibited by clause 2.10.2(c) only in any shared kitchen or utility area within the Residence and not to use any such equipment or fridges, freezers, or other electrical heating equipment or anything prohibited by 2.10.2(c) below in your Room except a kettle (provided that kettle complies with 2.10.1(b) below); (b) to be responsible (as an ongoing responsibility) for ensuring that any of your own electrical equipment (which is not prohibited under 2.10.1(c) or 2.10.2(c)) meets Health and Safety standards before bringing the item into the Accommodation or the Residence and to ensure that each of your own electrical appliances has a sound mains cable and plug, is CE marked, fitted with the correct fuse, only one appliance is wired to one plug and that you do not overload the electric power points. Electrical appliances You agree: (a) only to use the cooking and/or other electrical kitchen equipment supplied by us in any shared kitchen and not to use any other cooking or heating appliances in the Accommodation or Hall; (b) not to bring any electric blankets or electric duvets into the Accommodation or Hall; (c) not to bring any electrical equipment into the Accommodation or Hall except for items that have been properly tested, have a correctly rated fuse, correctly wired plug and are in good working order; (d) not to tamper with or alter electrical appliances supplied by us and to allow us to inspect any electrical items that you bring into the Accommodation or Hall and to remove any item that we (acting reasonably) consider to be unsafe; (e) to be responsible (as an ongoing responsibility) for ensuring that your own electrical equipment meets current Health and Safety standards before bringing the item into the Accommodation or the Hall and to ensure that each of your own electrical appliances is fitted with the correct fuse, only one appliance is wired to one plug and that you do not overload the electric power points; (f) not to bring any heating appliances, heavy duty electrical appliances, domestic appliances (such as fridges or freezers) into the Accommodation or the Halls. 2.10.2

Related to Electrical appliances You

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • Electrical Provide drawings for the following systems:

  • ELECTRICAL SERVICES A. Landlord shall provide electric power for a combined load of 3.0 xxxxx per square foot of useable area for lighting and for office machines through standard receptacles for the typical office space.

  • Electrical Service Electrical service for new construction or a renovated existing building shall be 480/277-volt, 3-phase, 4-wire or approved equal. Service shall be sized for HVAC and other mechanical system(s) loads, lighting, general building services, and dedicated computer based office equipment loads. 5 xxxxx per square foot shall be provided for lighting and general service receptacles. Size of neutral conductor of 3- phase circuits shall be twice that of phase conductor to accommodate potential harmonic currents associated with computer system electronic power supplies and fluorescent lighting fixtures electronic ballasts. An adequately sized 3 phase “wye” wound step down transformer shall be provided to supply 208/120-volt, 3 phase power, for lighting, general service receptacles and dedicated computer based office equipment. Dedicated, isolated ground circuits shall be supplied from separate isolated ground power distribution panel(s). Lighting circuits shall be supplied from separate lighting panel(s). Panels shall have 20% spare capacity and be complete with 10% spare breakers of each size, but no less than 1 spare. No more than 4 duplex receptacles shall be connected to any single 20-amp dedicated isolated ground circuit or general service circuit.

  • Lighting A system of fixtures providing or controlling the light sources used on or near the airport or within the airport buildings. The field lighting includes all luminous signals, markers, floodlights, and illuminating devices used on or near the airport or to aid in the operation of aircraft landing at, taking off from, or taxiing on the airport surface.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.

  • Heating The Hirer shall ensure that no unauthorised heating appliances shall be used on the premises when open to the public without the consent of the management committee. Portable Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG) heating appliances shall not be used.

  • Computer Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of computer equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with Subchapter Y, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Computer Equipment Recycling Program and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules in 30 TAC Chapter 328.
