The Halls definition

The Halls. The Parish Halls as owned by the Parish Church of All Saints, Ecclesall, Sheffield acting through its Parochial Church Council (“the PCC”). “The Hirer” shall, unless the context otherwise dictates, mean both The Hirer of the Premises and any responsible person authorised by The Hirer to act on their behalf who must be conversant with these hiring conditions.
The Halls means the PolyU Student Halls of Residence that are maintained by the University. “Wardens Committee” means the University's Committee commissioned for the stipulation of Hall related policies, promotion of Hall education and Hall life programmes, and monitoring the overall operation and management of the Halls. “Warden” means the Hall Warden of the respective Hall appointed by the University. “Tutor” means the senior Hall tutor or Hall tutor who is appointed by the University for assisting the Warden in the promotion of Hall life and the Office of Student Resources and Residential Life in the administration of the respective Hall. “Hall Administration” means the University staff authorized by the Head, Office of Student Resources and Residential Life for overseeing the daily operation and management of the Student Halls of Residence. “Property Management Office (HH)” (PMO) means the contractor appointed by the Hall Administration to provide and manage property services to the Hung Hom Halls. “Hall Resident” means a registered University student, summer resident or any person, other than the Hall Warden or staff of the Hall Administration or their family members, who has accepted the Hall residential place or who is residing in the Halls in the residential year or during Summer Residence. “Hall Staff” means the staff of the Hall Administration, the Property Management Office (HH) and/or any other persons who with defined authority entrusted by the Halls or the University to handle hall related matters. “Suite-mates” means hallmates who will share with hall resident in using the washroom of a student suite in the Halls. “Communal areas” means common areas including, but not limited to, corridor, stairway, lounge area, which are free for access and use. “PolyU Card” The PolyU card includes PolyU student/staff ID card, Temporary Hall Smart Card, Visitor Card or any access cards issued by Hall Administration for access to the Halls. Hall Regulations means the Regulations Governing Hall Residence, Regulations Governing Summer Hall Residence, Regulations Governing Hall/Room Transfer & Procedures, Regulations Governing the Use of Hall Amenities & Sports Facilities, Regulations Governing the Use of Hall Swimming Pool, Regulations Governing the Use of Hall Car Park, Regulations Governing the Use of Hall Computer Network and any applicable regulations, policy, terms and conditions on hall residence for the Halls unless otherwise specified. “Residential year” means t...
The Halls means the PolyU Student Halls of Residence (Homantin) that are maintained by the University.

  • The Halls does not allow animals inside any part of the building unless they are trained Guide or Support Dogs.

  • The Halls of Residence Rules (hereinafter, ‘the Rules’) are obligatory for all parties that hold a lease granted by the MTÜ Tartu Üliõpilasküla (hereinafter, the Student Village).

  • The PCC reserve the right to refuse any request to hire The Halls.

  • The Halls and Mall are locked at 9:00 p.m. and the Mall has a silent Tolsec alarm system.

Related to The Halls

  • Athlete means one of the parties to the Agreement, listed above;

  • the Handbook means the Authority’s Handbook of rules and guidance; “the IML levy” means the Illegal Money Lending levy;

  • Player means any Contract Player, Non Contract Player or other player who plays or who is eligible to play for a Club.

  • Reprimand means written censure for specified college regulatory violations.

  • Outages means the planned unavailability of transmission and/or generation facilities dispatched by PJM or the NYISO, as described in Section 35.9 of this Agreement.
