Duplication of Funding. If Grantee receives any funding that is duplicative of funding received under this Grant Agreement that cannot be used for new or expanded eligible grant activities, Grantee will notify the assigned contract manager as soon as possible. System Agency may issue an amendment modifying budget and/or project activities to eliminate duplication. Additionally, Grantee understands that duplicative funding that cannot be re-programmed to support new or expanded grant--obligated from this Grant Agreement and returned to System Agency.

Duplication of Funding. The Local Authority will run a duplication claim report each term to determine if any child has a claim accessing over their entitlement at two or more settings. • Both settings will be informed about this duplication and only the setting that has made the original claim and has a signed parent contract will be entitled to the funding in such circumstances. • It is important that providers who are accepting a child after the beginning of term identify if the child has attended another nursery prior and make the parent aware that they cannot claim the funding until the next term. • If two settings are both claiming universal hours and a valid 30 hour code is in place, the setting where the child started first will receive universal hours. Providers must check their headcounts and notify us if they have been allocated Extended hours and are highlighted as the main carer on the parent declaration form. The funding team will them adjust the claims on the system. There will be no difference in the amount paid if this is the case. • In the event that the child is splitting their funding and both parent declaration forms show each setting is the main carer, the Early Years Funding team make the final decision and notify both providers.
