Federal Funds definition

Federal Funds means federal or other immediately available funds which at the time of payment are legal tender for the payment of public and private debts in the United States of America.
Federal Funds means funds received from the federal government under a categorical grant or similar program and does not include federal funds received under a revenue sharing arrangement.

Examples of Federal Funds in a sentence

  • In the case that this Agreement is a Grant that is funded in whole or in part by Federal funds, and in the event Federal funds become unavailable or reduced, the State may suspend or cancel this Grant immediately, and the State shall have no obligation to pay Subrecipient from State revenues.

  • Party certifies under pains and penalties of perjury that, as of the date that this Agreement is signed, neither Party nor Party’s principals (officers, directors, owners, or partners) are presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible or excluded from participation in Federal programs, or programs supported in whole or in part by Federal funds.

  • In instances where the receipt of Federal funds is scheduled for deposit on a day when the State is not open for business, the State shall request funds for deposit the day following the scheduled day; in instances where the receipt of Federal funds is scheduled for deposit on a day when the Federal Government is not open for business, the State shall request funds for deposit the day prior to the scheduled day.
