HOPE VI definition

HOPE VI means a grant provided by HUD that is used to revitalize aging public housing.

  • The Grantee may deposit up to 15 percent of the HOPE VI Grant amount (the maximum amount of the grant allowable for CSS programs) into an endowment trust to provide CSS activities (the "Endowment Trust").

  • The Grantee certifies that its HOPE VI Application was consistent with Environmental Justice Executive Order 12898 and acknowledges that HUD has relied upon this certification in executing the Grant Agreement.

  • If other Federal programs are used in connection with the Grantee's HOPE VI Program, such labor standards shall also apply to the extent required by the other Federal programs.

  • The Grantee shall ensure that any entity to which it makes grant funds available will comply with the HOPE VI Requirements.
