Drug Free Workforce. It is a requirement of the AUTHORITY that it enter into contracts only with firms that certify the establishment of a drug-free work place in accordance with Section 287.087, Florida Statutes. Execution of this Agreement by GENERAL COUNSEL shall serve as GENERAL COUNSEL’s required certification that it either has or that it will establish a drug-free workplace in accordance with Section 287.087, Florida Statutes, as may be amended from time to time.

Drug Free Workforce. The CONTRACTOR and the Construction Company shall comply with CITY’s Drug Free Workplace policy and acknowledge compliance by executing the CITY’s form (Exhibit D) regarding the policy prior to initiating any work on the Project.

Drug Free Workforce. The Parties agree to the necessity of providing a safe and secure environment for everyone as well as the Company’s obligation to comply with applicable State or Federal laws and regulations and the Xxxxxxx Infrastructure, Applications and Communications (KIAC) Contract governing the conduct of its business. Intoxicated, impaired or drug-abusing employees can endanger themselves, the Company, and the lives of their friends and coworkers. The Parties agree to comply with the Company’s Non-DOT Substance Abuse and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Policy (effective date October 3, 2016), subject to any negotiated amendm ents and modifications necessary to satisfy mandates of NASA or applic able State or Fed eral laws or regulations, and with the following modifications:

Drug Free Workforce. Since it is a requirement of the Department of Defense that all government contractors with the Department of Defense have regulations concerning drug free workplace, the Parties agree to comply with the company policy as stated in the Chugach Union Employee Handbook dated September 1, 2018.
Drug Free Workforce. Contractor certifies that it will provide a drug-free workplace and promises to comply with the applicable requirements of the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Contractor represents and warrants that it shall comply with the applicable provisions of the Drug-Free Work Place Act of 1988 (41 U.S.C. §701 et seq.) and maintain a drug-free work environment.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE WORKPLACE 20.1 All employees must report to work in a condition fit to perform their assigned duties unimpaired by alcohol or drugs.

  • Drug Free Work Place Grantee shall establish and maintain a drug-free work place policy.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Policy Consultant shall provide a drug-free workplace by complying with all provisions set forth in City’s Council Policy 100-5, attached hereto as Exhibit “D” and incorporated herein by reference.   • DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE FORM The Drug-Free Workplace Form is attached and shall be completed and submitted with your bid.

  • FREE WORKPLACE The Recipient must be in compliance with The Federal Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988. The policies and procedures applicable to violations of these requirements are set forth in 41 U.S.C. §§ 8101-8106.

  • Drug Free Workplace Act The Contractor will assure a drug-free workplace in accordance with 45 CFR Part 76.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City's ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription. Alcohol abuse means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, or using alcoholic beverages, or being under the influence of alcohol.

  • DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS Contractor will comply with the requirements of the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1990 and will provide a drug-free workplace by taking the following actions:

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.
