Discipline; Student Rights; School Safety. The Organizer shall develop, implement, and maintain as a Prior Action a school safety plan, including a discipline plan, to provide for a safe learning environment at the Charter School for students, staff, volunteers, and visitors. The school safety plan shall include an emergency preparedness plan for the Charter School that meets the requirements set forth in 511 IAC § 6.1-2-2.5.

Discipline; Student Rights; School Safety. (a) The Organizer must establish and publicize written discipline rules in compliance with IC § 20-24-5.5. The School shall provide a copy of those policies and procedures to students and parents within the first ten (10) days of the beginning of the school year, and provide a copy to the Indiana Charter Board as part of the Indiana Charter Board’s Reporting Requirements as described in Section 10. Such policies and procedures shall be age/grade level appropriate and consistent with applicable law including, but not limited to, state requirements for due process and judicial review as described in IC §§ 20-33-19, -21, and -22, the requirements for provision of alternative instruction, and federal laws and regulations governing the discipline and placement of students with disabilities. No student shall be expelled or transferred involuntarily from the School except in accordance with these provisions and the School’s discipline policy.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Student Discipline CONTRACTOR shall maintain and abide by a written policy for student discipline that is consistent with state and federal law and regulations. When CONTRACTOR seeks to remove a student from his/her current educational placement for disciplinary reasons, CONTRACTOR shall immediately submit a written discipline report to the LEA and a manifestation IEP team meeting shall be scheduled. Written discipline reports shall include, but not be limited to: the student’s name; the time, date, and description of the misconduct; the disciplinary action taken by CONTRACTOR; and the rationale for such disciplinary action. A copy of the student’s behavior plan, if any, shall be submitted with the written discipline report. CONTRACTOR and XXX agree to participate in a manifestation determination at an IEP meeting no later than the tenth (10th) day of suspension. CONTRACTOR shall notify and invite XXX representatives to the IEP team meeting where the manifestation determination will be made.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • STUDENT DISCIPLINE AND TEACHER PROTECTION A. The Board recognizes its responsibility to give all support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom. Whenever it appears to the teacher and a representative of the Board that a particular pupil requires the attention of special counselors, social workers, law enforcement personnel, physicians or other professional persons the Board will take steps to relieve the teacher of responsibilities with respect to such pupil.

  • Technical Safeguards 1. USAC and the Department will process the data matched and any data created by the match under the immediate supervision and control of authorized personnel to protect the confidentiality of the data, so unauthorized persons cannot retrieve any data by computer, remote terminal, or other means.

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.

  • Discipline Procedure To ensure that there is no misunderstandings when discipline is to be administered the Parties shall adhere to the following procedure in each instance of discipline.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Contractor represents and warrants that it shall comply with the applicable provisions of the Drug-Free Work Place Act of 1988 (41 U.S.C. §701 et seq.) and maintain a drug-free work environment.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Policy Consultant shall provide a drug-free workplace by complying with all provisions set forth in City’s Council Policy 100-5, attached hereto as Exhibit “D” and incorporated herein by reference. Consultant’s failure to conform to the requirements set forth in Council Policy 100-5 shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement and shall be cause for immediate termination of this Agreement by City.

  • Polygraph Tests The Employer agrees that polygraph or similar lie detector tests will not be used.
