Description of Specific Project. The underground utility infrastructure at Cargo Dock 9 is in poor and failing condition. The wastewater force main north of the warehouse had three failures in 2017 and one more recently in March 2020. Failures to the storm infrastructure have created a sink hole and sediment infiltration into the storm system, reducing capacity. Storm water and wastewater infrastructure issues and improvements at Cargo Dock 9 were detailed in an Assessment Report previously prepared by Engineer under Service Order No. 1. This project will develop a detailed design and construction plans to install a new wastewater force main and improve the underground drainage system at Cargo Dock 9.

Description of Specific Project. The PCCA routinely obtains regular bathymetric surveys on its docks and waterways to ensure that current and accurate data is maintained on water depths. In addition, miscellaneous survey services are required, on an as needed basis, to support capital and maintenance projects, management of PCCA assets, and PCCA real estate transactions.
Description of Specific Project. The design of a maneuvering basin to accommodate the Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) docks at the new Harbor Island docks. The PCCA has requested that Engineer develop a conceptual layout of the basin to facilitate further discussions with the Aransas-Corpus Christi Pilots regarding vessel maneuverability as well as to better define the project scope, budget and schedule.

The scope of work for this Service Order describes the tasks that will be necessary to complete the detail design and construction drawings and specifications of Beneficial Use (BU) Sites M10, SS1, and SS2.
Description of Specific Project. The project is a three-part corridor mobility plan (assessment, modeling, and concept design) for the Xxx Xxxxxx International Trade Corridor. Part I of the plan will evaluate current conditions; Part II will develop scenario-based projections (five- and ten-year time horizons) of travel demand based on pending commercial agreements for development of the last remaining greenfield sites along the Inner Harbor; Part III will yield a prioritized list of/concept design for iterative interventions that include both engineering and traffic management solutions.

The project generally includes the design of an additional stockpile pad at PCCA’s Bulk Materials Terminal Bulk Dock 1, as well as protective retaining walls, a rail spur, geotechnical investigation and repair of the existing stockpile pad, utility relocations, and grading/drainage improvements.

With the channel deepening project now underway and the entrance channel to Harbor Island expected to be completed by mid-2019, planning for the development of Harbor Island is needed. It is expected that Harbor Island development will include storage for petroleum exports. This project involves the master planning with regards to the best way to market and develop this facility, including the upland property owned by the Port at Harbor Island and the newly acquired right-of-way for a pipeline/utility easement.
