Day Before and Day After. In order for an employee to receive their regular pay for the holiday, the employee must work the entire shift of their regular scheduled day before and the entire shift of their regular scheduled day after a holiday. Employees who are docked because of tardiness (less than thirty-one (31) minutes) the day preceding or after a holiday shall not lose holiday pay. Employees on vacation, sick leave, injury leave or a leave of absence with pay shall be considered as working the entire shift of their regular schedule for pay purposes.

Day Before and Day After. The Employer will continue its past practice of making its best effort to permit employees using paid vacation in one week blocks to have the day before and the day after the scheduled vacation as their regular day off. It is understood and agreed that, if it proves to be impossible to continue this practice in a majority of cases in the future, the Employer and the Union will meet and attempt to negotiate a mutually satisfactory solution.

  • WORKING DAY BEFORE AUCTION DATE Any intending bidder who intends to bid on behalf of another person, body corporate or firm is required to deposit with the Auctioneer prior to the auction sale an authority letter to state that he/she is acting on behalf of another person, body corporate or firm and he/she is authorised to sign all the necessary documents.
