COUNTERFEIT PREVENTION. Spirit enforces a counterfeit part prevention policy and only procures product directly (i) as a franchised or authorized manufacturer or (ii) with direct traceability to the original manufacturer. Spirit’s definition of a “counterfeit part” includes the AS9100 definition of “an unauthorized copy, imitation, substitute, or modified part (e.g., material, part, component), which is knowingly misrepresented as a specified genuine part of an original or authorized manufacturer.” Spirit further defines a “counterfeit part” to include any part that is refurbished, repaired, returned or any part on which manufacturer labels or markings have been altered and that part that is falsely represented as new and unused as produced by the original or authorized manufacturer. Supplier shall provide part traceability to the original manufacturer. Spirit requires Supplier to provide a signed manufacturer’s C of C with every shipment, and Supplier may additionally meet traceability requirement by providing inspection documentation, test data, packing slips, and other applicable manufacturer documentation. At Spirit’s request, Supplier shall provide such documentation to verify traceability
COUNTERFEIT PREVENTION. As appropriate, Seller shall have a counterfeit detection process that meets SAE standard AS5553, Counterfeit Electronic Parts, Avoidance, Detection, Mitigation, and Disposition and/or SAE Standard AS6174, Counterfeit Materiel: Assuring Acquisition of Authentic and Conforming Materiel utilizing the appropriate Appendices and Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) as guidance, as appropriate to the specific commodity types.
COUNTERFEIT PREVENTION. Seller shall not deliver any products to buyer containing any Counterfeit Parts. “Counterfeit Parts” means a copy or substitute without the legal right or authority to do so or a part whose material, performance, or characteristics are knowingly misrepresented by a supplier in the supply chain. COUNTERFEIT PREVENTION. All trap tags or security seals that are processed by the Supplier must not be able to be counterfeited, and all measures must be taken to ensure that no counterfeiting is being done. Any request for tags that match the color and description of any Maine tag being issued must be forwarded to DMR prior to being produced in order to verify this is not a counterfeit tag request. If vendor questions whether a tag is being requested and possible counterfeiting situation, vendor must reach out to the Department immediately.   • Fraud Prevention A. To screen its employees and contractors to determine if they have been excluded from Medicare, Medicaid or any federal or state health care program. The Contractor agrees to search monthly the HHS-Office of Inspector General ("OIG") and Texas Health and Human Services Commission Office of Inspector General ("HHSC-OIG") List of Excluded Individuals/Entities ("LEIE") websites to capture exclusions and reinstatements that have occurred since the last search and to immediately report to HHSC-OIG any exclusion information the Contractor discovers. Exclusionary searches for prospective employees and contractors shall be performed prior to employment or contracting.

  • Fire Prevention LESSEE agrees to use every reasonable precaution against fire and agrees to provide and maintain approved, labeled fire extinguishers, emergency lighting equipment, and exit signs and complete any other modifications within the leased premises as required or recommended by the Insurance Services Office (or successor organization), OSHA, the local Fire Department, or any similar body.

Further, the Trust has determined that the Procedures, as part of the Trust’s overall anti-money laundering program and the Red Flag Identity Theft Prevention program, are reasonably designed to prevent the Fund from being used for money laundering or the financing of terrorist activities and to achieve compliance with the applicable provisions of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 and the USA Patriot Act of 2001 and the implementing regulations thereunder. Based on this determination, the Trust hereby instructs and directs USBFS to implement the Procedures on the Trust’s behalf, as such may be amended or revised from time to time. It is contemplated that these Procedures will be amended from time to time by the parties as additional regulations are adopted and/or regulatory guidance is provided relating to the Trust’s anti-money laundering and identity theft responsibilities. USBFS agrees to provide to the Trust:

  • Erosion Prevention and Control Purchaser’s Operations shall be conducted reasonably to minimize soil erosion. Equipment shall not be operated when ground conditions are such that excessive damage will result. Purchaser shall adjust the kinds and intensity of erosion control work done to ground and weather condi- tions and the need for controlling runoff. Erosion control work shall be kept current immediately preceding ex- pected seasonal periods of precipitation or runoff. If Purchaser fails to do seasonal erosion control work prior to any seasonal period of precipitation or runoff, Forest Service may temporarily assume responsibility for the work and any unencumbered deposits hereunder may be used by Forest Service to do the work. If needed for such work, Purchaser shall make additional deposits on request by Forest Service. Any money deposited or used for this purpose shall be treated as cooperative deposits under B4.218.

  • Anti-Terrorism The Contractor agrees to undertake all reasonable efforts to ensure that none of the UNDP funds received under the Contract is used to provide support to individuals or entities associated with terrorism and that recipients of any amounts provided by UNDP hereunder do not appear on the list maintained by the Security Council Committee established pursuant to Resolution 1267 (1999). The list can be accessed via xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/sc/suborg/en/sanctions/1267/aq_sanctions_list. This provision must be included in all sub-contracts or sub-agreements entered into under the Contract.
