Compensation For Holidays Not Worked a. An eligible full time employee shall receive eight (8) hours of holiday pay, regardless of the number of hours in her/his shift, and regardless of whether or not it was worked, except as provided in Section B. 2., above.

Compensation For Holidays Not Worked. Part-time, casual and student employees who do not work on the above-listed holidays will be paid in accordance with the Employment Standards Act. This is based on an average of the actual hours worked in the four week period prior to the holiday. Additionally, employees must work the scheduled shift immediately preceding and immediately following the holiday.
