Compensation for Work on a Holiday. (a) Where an Employee is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 14, and her regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times her regular rate of pay as follows:

Compensation for Work on a Holiday. (a) Where an employee works on a holiday he/she shall be paid:
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. If a permanent full-time employee works on any of the holidays set forth in Section l of this Recommendation, the employee shall be compensated at 1½ times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on said holiday. The employee shall receive paid time off for all hours worked on a holiday up to a full shift. If the employee works during the employee's regularly scheduled shift on a holiday, the paid time off shall be in lieu of holiday pay under Section 3 above. Paid time off for time worked outside of the employee's regularly scheduled shift on a holiday shall not be in lieu of such holiday pay. Employees may select the date on which they utilize their paid time off awarded for working on a holiday provided they have given the Employer four calendar weeks' notice and the Employer will respect the request as long as it is not detrimental to the efficiency of the operation. Employees will be permitted to use such paid time off within 60 calendar days succeeding the holiday. If such scheduling is not possible because of the demands of the work, the scheduling period shall be extended 30 calendar days. If the employee makes no attempt to schedule such paid time off within the 60 calendar day period succeeding the holiday, such time will be scheduled by the Employer.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. (a) Where a Nurse is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 7, and the Nurse’s regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 10.18, the Nurse shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times the Nurse’s regular rate of pay as follows:
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. When an employee is required to work on a holiday, he/she shall be compensated, in addition to holiday pay, at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times his/her regular hourly rate for all hours worked on that day.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. An employee who is scheduled to work on a holiday or for alternate schedules, the employee’s designated holiday, will be compensated with a paid holiday according to the employee’s job class plus time and a half (1-1/2) in overtime pay or compensatory time for regularly scheduled hours.
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. Notwithstanding any other provision in the Collective Agreement, an employee who works in a continuous operation that does not shut down on holidays shall be compensated as follows:
Compensation for Work on a Holiday. 22.05 Where a Civil Aviation Inspector or an Engineering Test Pilot or a shore-based Helicopter Pilot works on a Holiday, he or she shall be paid, in addition to the pay that he or she would have been granted had he or she not worked on a holiday, compensation for all hours worked by him or her on the Holiday at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the rate of his or her hourly remuneration, or when a Civil Aviation Inspector or a Engineering Test Pilot or a shore-based Helicopter Pilot works on a Holiday, which is not his or her scheduled day of work, but which is consecutive and contiguous to a day of rest on which he or she also worked and received overtime he or she shall be paid in addition to the pay that he or she would have been granted had he or she not worked on the holiday, two (2) times his or her hourly rate of pay for all time worked. Compensation for Work on a Holiday. Notwithstanding Article 17.02 above, where a full-time or part-time employee is required by the Employer to work on any of the holidays listed in Article 17.01 above, the employee shall receive one and one-half (1.5) times their regular hourly rate for all hours worked on such holiday. Full-time employees shall also receive seven paid hours off in lieu of the paid holiday and part-time employees the hours equal to their holiday entitlement to be taken at a time mutually agreed between the employee and the Employer.
