Chemical Safety. Tenant will comply the Chemical Hygiene PlanGuidelines for the Safe Handling of Hazardous Chemicals. The plan is available online at hxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/xxxx/about/manuals/Chemical-Hygiene-Plan-2016.pdf Tenant shall prepare a chemical inventory and submit the form electronically to Environmental Health and Life Safety at exx@xx.xxx before conducting laboratory activities within the Premises. To ensure HAZCOM and NFPA regulation compliance, Tenant is required to keep an updated copy of their chemical inventory on file. The Chemical Inventory form is available online at hxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/xxxx/about/forms/UH%20Chemical%20Inventory%20Templat e.xlsx . For each hazardous substance listed the following information must be indicated on the chemical inventory: CAS number, Chemical name, Location in the lab, Quantity, Receipt Date and SDS hazard statement. The specific information on any associated health or safety hazards must be made readily available to all Laboratory Personnel.

Chemical Safety. (a) If any of the Items sold hereunder are subject to the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 20 CFR Part 1910, or to such other state or federal hazard communications or chemical safety laws, regulations, or standards, Seller shall provide Sappi with a complete and accurate Material Safety Data Sheet for each such Item sold hereunder and shall label each such Item as required.
Chemical Safety. 5.8.1 Activities involving hazardous chemical agents Activities involving hazardous chemical agents at CERN shall comply with the following CERN Safety rule:  Safety Regulation on chemical agents (SR-C);  General Safety Instruction (GSI-C1) on prevention and protection measures;  General Safety Instruction (GSI-C3) on monitoring of exposure to hazardous chemical agents in workplace atmospheres. Prior to the use of the hazardous chemical agents, and in order to comply with the requirements of the applicable CERN Safety rule, a Chemical risk assessment shall be carried out (refer Safety Form C-0-0-1, Chemical Risk Assessment). In addition the following Safety forms shall be completed, when required, for the use of hazardous chemical agents:  Safety Form C-1-0-2 – Chemical Inventory (example);  Safety Form C-1-0-3 – Tests of safety showers/eye washes;  Safety Form C-1-0-4 – Respirator use (example);  Safety Form C-3-0-1 – Exposure Form for hazardous chemicals and CMR;  Safety Form C-0-0-2 - Nanomaterial Risk Assessment The following Guideline documents are available for consultation, when completing the Safety forms:  Safety Guideline C-1-0-1 – Storage of Hazardous Chemical Agents;  Safety Guideline C-1-0-2 – Chemical Protective Gloves;  Safety Guideline C-1-0-3 – Practical Guide for users of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems;  Safety Guideline C-0-0-1 – Identification of Hazardous Chemical Agents;  Safety Guideline C-0-0-2 – Chemical Risk Assessment (Inhalation);  Safety Guideline C-0-0-3 – Lead;  Safety Guideline C-0-0-4 – REACH;  Safety Guideline C-0-0-5 - Safe handling and disposal of nanomaterials
Chemical Safety. If any of the Goods sold under this PO are subject to the Hazardous Products Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. H-3) or to such other provincial or federal hazard communications or chemical safety laws, codes, ordinances, by-laws, regulations, standards, rules, requirements or orders, Supplier shall provide Sappi Canada with a complete and accurate Safety Data Sheet for the Goods and shall label Goods as required.

  • TOXIC SUBSTANCES Each Contractor furnishing a toxic substance as defined by Section 875 of the Labor Law, shall provide such Authorized User with not less than two copies of a material safety data sheet, which sheet shall include for each such substance the information outlined in Section 876 of the Labor Law. Before any chemical product is used or applied on or in any building, a copy of the product label and Material Safety Data Sheet must be provided to and approved by the Authorized User agency representative.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Laws There exists no violation by the Borrower or any Restricted Subsidiary of any applicable federal, state, or local law, rule or regulation, or order of any government, governmental department, board, agency, or other instrumentality relating to environmental, pollution, health, or safety matters that has imposed, will impose, or threatens to impose a material liability on the Borrower or a Restricted Subsidiary or that has required or would require a material expenditure by the Borrower or a Restricted Subsidiary to cure. Neither the Borrower nor any Restricted Subsidiary has received any notice to the effect that any part of its operations or properties is not in material compliance with any such law, rule, regulation, or order or notice that it or its property is the subject of any governmental investigation evaluating whether any remedial action is needed to respond to any release of any toxic or hazardous waste or substance into the environment, which non-compliance or remedial action could constitute a Material Adverse Occurrence. Except as set out on Schedule 4.7, the Borrower has no knowledge that it, its property, any Restricted Subsidiary, or any Restricted Subsidiary’s property will become subject to environmental laws or regulations during the term of this Agreement, compliance with which could require Capital Expenditures that could constitute a Material Adverse Occurrence.

  • Health, Safety and Environment 41.1 In the performance of this Contract, Contractor and Operator shall conduct Petroleum Operations with due regard to health, safety and the protection of the environment (“HSE”) and the conservation of natural resources, and shall in particular:

  • Chemical Substances Supplier warrants that: (i) each chemical substance contained in Products is on the inventory of chemical substances compiled and published by the Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act and (ii) all Material Safety Data Sheets required to be provided by Supplier for Products shall be provided to DXC prior to shipment of the Products and shall be complete and accurate.

  • Health & Safety (a) The Employer and the Union agree that they mutually desire to maintain standards of safety and health in the Home, in order to prevent injury and illness and abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act as amended from time to time.
