Chemical substances definition

Chemical substances means alcohol, legal and illegal drugs, or medications, including those taken pursuant to a valid prescription for legitimate medical purposes and in accordance with the prescriber’s direction, as well as those used illegally.
Chemical substances or "mixtures" as defined in TSCA or any other substance which is tested pursuant to TSCA or any other Environmental Law, or the manufacture, processing, distribution, use or disposal of which is regulated or prohibited pursuant to TSCA or any other Environmental Law, including without limitation polychlorinated biphenyls and electrical equipment which contains any oil or dielectric fluid containing regulated concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls; (d) "insecticides", "fungicides", "pesticides" or "rodenticides" as defined in FIFRA or any other Environmental Law; or (e) "infectious waste" or "biohazardous waste" as defined in any Environmental Law; (ii) asbestos or any asbestos-containing materials; (iii) urea formaldehyde foam insulation; (iv) any oil, petroleum, petroleum fraction or petroleum derived substance; (v) any drilling fluids, produced waters and other wastes associated with the exploration, development or production of crude oil, natural gas or geothermal resources; (vi) any flammable substances or explosives; (vii) any radioactive materials; and (viii) any other chemical, material or substance, exposure to which is prohibited, limited or regulated by any Government Authority or which may or could pose a hazard to the health and safety of the owners, occupants or any Persons in the vicinity of any Facility or to the indoor or outdoor environment.
Chemical substances means any chemical substance, including, but not limited to, any sort of pollutants, contaminants, chemicals, raw materials, intermediates, products, industrial, solid, toxic or hazardous substances, materials, wastes, or petroleum products, including crude oil or any component thereof, salt water, brine, asbestos, or NORM.

Chemical substances. Supplier warrants that: (a) each chemical substance contained in Goods is on the inventory of chemical substances compiled and published by the Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act; and (b) all Material Safety Data Sheets required to be provided by Supplier for Goods shall be provided to Buyer prior to shipment of the Goods and shall be complete and accurate.
