CDL - Commercial Driver’s License. If a classification in a division requires a CDL license, the City will reimburse the employee for the cost of the CDL license renewal. New hired employees or employees promoted to classifications requiring a CDL license must have or acquire at the time of hire or promotion or during their probationary period their CDL license as a condition of employment. Failure to acquire the CDL, within the probationary period or to maintain CDL certification during the period in classifications requiring CDL certification will be sufficient grounds for discharge. Employees promoted to a classification requiring a CDL license must have or acquire a CDL during the promotional period and if the employee does not acquire or loses their CDL during the promotional probationary period the employee will be returned to a position in their previous classification.

CDL - Commercial Driver’s License. Xxxxxxxx Township will pay for CDL license and its renewal. Township will also pay for articulated CDL license. An employee who possesses a CDL shall receive an annual stipend of $1,750 per year, which shall be prorated in the first year based on when the employee provides proof of obtaining CDL.

  • Commercial Driver’s License As a result of recent Federal statutory requirements, the State of Michigan enacted Act 346 of 1988. The parties agree that as a result of these statutory requirements some employees within the Technical Bargaining Unit may be required to obtain and retain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) to continue to perform certain duties for the State. Whenever a CDL is referred to in this Section, it is understood to mean the CDL and any required endorsements. In order to implement this provision, the parties agree to the following:

  • Driver’s License Executive shall have and carry a valid driver's license issued by his or her state of domicile or the State of Employment hereunder and a driver's permit issued by the Company whenever Executive is driving any motor vehicle in connection with Company business. Executive agrees to immediately notify Company in writing if Executive's driver's license is lost, expired, restricted, suspended or revoked for any reason whatsoever.

  • DRIVERS LICENCE You must carry your Driver Licence and/or the copy of your English Translation on you at all times while driving. Please also keep a copy of your Rental Agreement in the vehicle at all times.
