Care Quality Commission. 7.9. The Provider will be registered with the CQC at all times and will comply with any resulting requirements or regulations. Providers who are not rated ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ will be required to provide assurance that services are safe.
Care Quality Commission. 2.10.1 The Provider for the drug and alcohol treatment service is required to be registered with the CQC as an independent Healthcare Provider, meeting all requirements pertaining to the registration, for each of the regulated activities that are required to be undertaken, as set out in the service specification. Care Quality Commission. ‌ The CQC is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. Their role is to ensure that services meet national standards of safety and care. This remit includes the inspection of IRC healthcare services and providers are required to register their services with the Commission. The CQC has a memorandum of understanding with HM Inspectorate of Prisons (HMIP) to ensure that checks are not duplicated. This includes mapping all of CQC’s regulations to HMIP’s expectations and inspection methodology. The role and independence of CQC remains unchanged by this agreement.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.
