Board Policy Books. Every member of the bargaining unit employed by the Ottawa Hills Board of Education will have access to an electronic copy of “Board Policies for Teachers.” Any policies changed during the school year will be emailed to employees following final Board action. In addition, one copy of the Board Policy book will be provided to the OHEA president.

Thereafter, the Employer shall make up the difference between ninety percent (90%) of the employee's net straight time earnings based on his or her regular hourly rate of pay and what he or she receives from the Workers' Compensation Board for a period of up to thirteen (13) weeks from the first (1st) day of absence due to injury on the job. Part-time employees shall be entitled to use their Sick Leave accumulation for make-up to one hundred percent (100%) for the first three (3) scheduled working days of absence. In the event the Workers' Compensation Board challenges initial coverage, or after going on W.C.B. benefits, the Workers' Compensation Board terminates such benefits because the Board has decided that the employee's disability is no longer related to the compensable injury, the Employer will pay the Workers' Compensation Board portion and an amount equal to the difference between ninety percent (90%) of the employee's net straight time earnings and the Workers' Compensation Board portion for a period up to thirteen (13) weeks as an advance until the matter is decided. If the claim is later allowed by the Workers' Compensation Board, the Employer will be refunded that portion of the advance paid by the Workers' Compensation Board either directly from the Board or, if not possible, from the employee. At the Employer's option, the employee will pursue the Appeals Procedure under the Workers' Compensation Board.

  • Umbrella Policies Contractor may satisfy basic coverage limits through any combination of basic coverage and umbrella insurance.

  • School Board Review The School Board reserves the right to review any decision issued under Level I or Level II of this procedure provided the School Board or its representative notifies the parties of its intention to review within ten (10) days after the decision has been rendered. In the event the School Board reviews a grievance under this section, the School Board reserves the right to reverse or modify such decision.

  • University Policies Contractor shall, at no additional cost to the University, comply with all policies and procedures of the University. In the event the University establishes new policies or procedures following execution of the contract, or makes modifications to policies or procedures in existence at the time of contract execution, Contractor shall comply with such new or modified policies or procedures upon written notice.

  • School Board Rights Section 1. Inherent Managerial Rights: The exclusive representative recognizes that the School Board is not required to meet and negotiate on matters of inherent managerial policy, which include, but are not limited to, such areas of discretion or policy as the functions and programs of the employer, its overall budget, utilization of technology, the organizational structure and selection and direction and number of personnel.

  • Written Programs Contractor shall have written environmental, quality control, crisis/emergency management, health and safety programs in place with a designated (qualified) coordinator as the point of contact during the project. Such plans shall be on the Site and the superintendent and the project management team shall be familiar with and utilize such programs.

  • Personnel Policy Employees of the Parties to this Agreement shall be subject to the personnel rules, laws and regulations of their respective agencies, unless they are employed temporarily by another Party to this Agreement and the authority under which such temporary employment is authorized provides that such employees shall be subject to the employing Party’s personnel laws and regulations.
