Benefits During Disability. No represented employee shall be denied the normal accrual of vacation or sick leave benefits during a period of disability covered by Section 4850 of the Labor Code. While covered by Section 4850, all benefits, which include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance are continued.
Benefits During Disability. Members who incur an on‐the‐job injury, service connected, or occupational disability shall continue to receive City‐ paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits for themselves and their dependents for twenty‐four (24) months while on non‐paid status. Thereafter, the employee is responsible for payment of medical, dental, vision and life premiums. The City shall pay no more than a total of twenty‐ four (24) months of benefits (medical, dental, vision and life) per injury or disability in a thirty‐ six (36) month period from the date of the initial injury or disability.   • Long Term Disability The Employer agrees to provide Long Term Disability benefits for active full-time employees after fifty-two (52) weeks if an Employee is unable to perform any occupation (reasonably suited by means of training, education or experience). The Plan will provide for sixty-six and two thirds percent (66 2/3%) of an Employee's basic monthly earnings to a maximum of $1,500.00. Coverage would cease the date an Employee attains normal retirement age.
