Non‐Accredited Classes Sample Clauses

Non‐Accredited Classes. For work‐related classes that are non‐accredited, the City will allocate up to ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per year. There is an initial maximum reimbursement amount of $350 per employee per fiscal year, or until funds are exhausted for that fiscal year. The maximum reimbursement amount will be reviewed and amended to a cap of $500 as necessary by June 1st of the current fiscal year. Employees will be notified if the maximum reimbursement is changed. The remaining amount of the fund will be evenly distributed between employees with requests that were subjected to the $350 cap. Members must receive approval prior to registration from the Training Division to be reimbursed. Unused funds will be forfeited at the conclusion of the fiscal year. If the funds ($10,000) are used and there are funds available from the accredited classes appropriation (part G above), an amount up to five thousand ($5,000) of those unused funds may be used per fiscal year.
