AUTOMATIC PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS AND REMITTANCE. Upon certification by the Union that an employee has signed an authorization for the deduction of Union membership dues and/or designated fees, the County will deduct the appropriate dues or fees, as established and as may be changed from time to time by the Union, from the employee's pay, and remit such dues or fees to the Union. Employee requests to cancel or change such deductions must be directed to the Union, rather than to the County. Deductions will continue unless the employee mails a written revocation to the Union in accordance with the terms of the authorization form, or absent any such terms, by mailing a written revocation to the Union that is postmarked during the thirty (30) day period immediately prior to the annual anniversary date on which the employee signed the authorization form. No later than December 1st of each year, the County shall provide to the Union the County's official annual calendar showing paydays for the following year. The Union will provide the County with written notice of each employee deduction authorization and/or revocation on or before Monday of a non-payday week. The effective date of the deductions and/or revocations of any existing authorizations for employees shall be the payday Friday following the Union's notification to the County of the deduction authorization or revocation.

The District will automatically cease deductions for any employee who is no longer employed in a classification represented by the Union. Deductions will continue unless the employee mails a written revocation to the Union in accordance with the terms of the authorization form, or absent any such terms, by mailing a written revocation to the Union that is postmarked during the thirty (30)-day period immediately prior to the annual anniversary date on which the employee signed the authorization form. If the Union notifies the District prior to the pay period end date (e.g., July 1, 2018), the effective date of dues or fees deductions or revocation for employees shall be the pay date following (e.g., July 6, 2018) the Union's notification to the District. Otherwise, the dues or fees deduction or revocation will be effective the next pay date ( e.g., July 20, 2018).

  • Automatic Payroll Deposit All employees covered by this agreement shall participate in the County's automatic payroll deposit program. Participation shall mean the employee's execution of a payroll authorization form and submission of a voided check or savings deposit slip to the Auditor's office. It shall be the employee's choice as to which bank he/she designates as the institution receiving the payroll funds. When the authorization form is properly executed and filed with the Auditor, the County shall automatically deposit in the employee's designated bank account the net amount of pay each designated biweekly payday.

  • Other Payroll Deductions In addition to the above, the City will deduct from an employee's payroll check, upon authorization by the employee, amounts payable to causes or organizations selected by the Union. At any one time, no more than ten (10) such causes or organizations may be identified by the Union as authorized to benefit from such payroll deductions unless otherwise authorized by the City in its sole discretion. The Union will notify the City of the causes and organizations to be so authorized. Payroll deductions shall be governed by the ability of the City Auditor's payroll system to handle same.

  • PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS AND DUES The following provisions shall apply to employees in classifications listed in the Appendices herein.

  • Payroll Deductions An employee shall be entitled to have deductions from her salary assigned for the purchase of Canada Savings Bonds.

If you have authorised an automatic payment and PayPal performs currency conversion for an automatic payment transaction, PayPal will use the transaction exchange rate (including PayPal's currency conversion fee) in effect at the time the automatic payment transaction is processed.

  • When Must Distributions from a Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account Begin? Distribution of a Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account must be made (or otherwise will be deemed made) no later than 30 days from the earlier of the beneficiary’s death or attainment of age 30. A distribution from a Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account may be rolled over to another beneficiary’s Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account according to the requirements of Section (4). Note that the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 waives the distribution age limitation if the beneficiary of the Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account is a “Special Needs” student.

  • PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES 4.1: On receipt of a lawfully executed written authorization from an employee, on a form approved by the City’s Director, General Accounting Division, the City will deduct each pay period from the employee’s pay, the amount specified by said employee, but not less than regular dues.
