Authorization for Overtime. A. The immediate supervisor may assign overtime-eligible employees to work more than forty (40) hours in a work week provided that such assignment conforms with management directives, program priorities and budget constraints.
Authorization for Overtime. All overtime must be authorized in advance by a supervisor except in the case of emergency.

In those circumstances where prior authorization is impossible, the employee must provide a rationale for the overtime which is acceptable to the Employer at the earliest possible opportunity after the overtime has been worked.
Authorization for Overtime. Overtime hours shall only be paid for work that is pre-authorized by the Employer. Only in exceptional circumstances may overtime be pre-approved by a Lead Hand.
