Association Travel. An employee may use Association Leave provided in Article 2.9 for absences related to this Article. However, the District cannot reimburse an employee for travel expenses involved in attending meetings of the MEA, IEA, NEA, or other such affiliation or organization.

  • Association Activities The parties agree employees shall have the right to form, join, and participate in the lawful activities of the Association for the purpose of representation in matters of employment relations. Meetings of this Committee will be to discuss matters of mutual concern, matters relating to nursing, professional practice, scheduling and work load issues.   • Association Establishment and all other expenses of the Association and also similar expenses of the Maintenance In-charge looking after the common purposes, until handing over the same to the Association.

  • Association Interview The Association will be allowed to interview newly employed nurses during the Hospital’s general orientation and, when possible, be notified of the date for the interview at least two (2) weeks in advance.

  • Association Grievance A grievance, as defined in Section 7.1, relating to occurrences actually involving at least three (3) nurses or arising under the Association Representative article, may be initiated by the Association at Step 2 of the above-mentioned procedure by the filing of a written grievance, signed by a representative of the Association, within 35 calendar days from the date of occurrence. Such grievance shall describe the problem and the contract provisions alleged to have been violated.

  • Association Meetings The Association shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings without cost after the regular students’ school day.

  • Association Access Employees shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of a paid representative of the Association on all matters related to employee and Employer relations. The paid representative of the Association shall have access to the Employer's premises in order to provide the required assistance. Employees involved in such discussions or investigations of grievances shall not absent themselves from their work, except with the permission from their supervisor and such permission will not be unreasonably withheld.
