Association Grievance definition

Association Grievance means a claim which may involve more than one (1) member, arises in more than one (1) area, or impacts the entire bargaining unit. Such grievance may be initiated with the Superintendent.
Association Grievance the Association may itself grieve only with respect to an alleged violation by the District of those rights specifically granted to the Association by an express provision of this Agreement.

  • If the Board, the grievant, and the Association Grievance Committee shall be unable to resolve any grievance, and it shall involve an alleged violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of this agreement, the grievance may within ten (10) school days after the decision of the Board, be appealed.

Association Grievance is a grievance filed by the Association on behalf of itself or of its members.
Association Grievance shall be filed at Step 2 and means either:
Association Grievance means any complaint by the Association concerning the effect or interpretation, or a claim of a breach of provisions, of any agreement relating to the rights and benefits that accrue to the Association as the exclusive representative of bargaining unit employees. Grievances on behalf of employees, or that relate to the employment of employees, or that concern any claimed violation, misinterpretation, or misapplication of any law, rule or regulation affecting conditions of employment of employees, are not Association Grievances within the meaning of this Agreement, and are instead group employee grievances.
Association Grievance. A grievance, relating to occurrences involving 32 three (3) or more nurses, may be initiated by the Association at Step 1 of 33 the above- mentioned procedure by the filing of a written grievance, 34 signed by one of the affected nurses or a representative of the 1 Association, within ten (10) calendar days from the date of occurrence. 2 Such a grievance shall describe the problem and the contract provisions 3 alleged to be violated.

  • Policy Grievance is defined as a difference between the parties relating to the interpretation, application or administration of this Agreement. A policy grievance may be submitted by either party at Step 2 of the grievance procedure. A policy grievance shall be signed by a CLAC Representative and submitted to the Employer.
