Association Activities. The parties agree employees shall have the right to form, join, and participate in the lawful activities of the Association for the purpose of representation in matters of employment relations. No employee shall be interfered with, restrained, coerced, or discriminated against because of the exercise of such rights.

Association Activities. Except by the express agreement of the Employer, the performance of the duties of employees shall not be interrupted for the purpose of conducting any Association activities whatsoever, provided, however, that this provision shall not prevent the authorized representatives from having such reasonable contact with members of the Association as shall be necessary to ascertain that the terms of the agreement are being observed.
Association Activities. Employees shall have the right to request annual or compensatory leave or leave without pay for the purpose of attending FSFSA conventions, conferences and meetings. When such requests cannot be granted, the supervisor shall provide such denial in writing.

Association Activities. Section 13.1 Negotiation Team Member Notification SCEA shall provide the Vice Chancellor for Employee Relations with the names of the members of the SCEA negotiating team on or prior to September 14, 2018. Each team shall be limited to six (6) members. Likewise, the Vice Chancellor shall provide SCEA with the names of the Board’s negotiating team on or prior to September 14, 2018. Alternate team members may be identified at a later date if the need arises.
Association Activities. Consistent with A.S. 23.40.080, employees may engage in concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid or protection. The Employer agrees that it will not in any manner, directly or indirectly, attempt to interfere between any of its employees and the Association; it will not in any manner restrain or attempt to restrain any employee from belonging to the Association or from taking an active part in Association affairs; and it will not discriminate against any employee because of Association membership or non- membership, or lawful Association activity.

There shall be no Association meetings held on Employer property unless authorized in writing by the Employer. Duly authorized representatives of the Association and their respective affiliates who are not employees shall be permitted to transact official Association business on school property at all reasonable times, provided that this shall not interfere with or interrupt normal school operations and prior approval is obtained from the Superintendent or his designee.
