Asbestos Allowance. Employees required to use materials containing asbestos or working in close proximity to employees using such materials shall be provided with and shall use all necessary safeguards as required by any appropriate occupational health authority. Where such safeguards include the mandatory wearing of protective equipment, including combination overalls and breathing equipment or similar apparatus, whilst so engaged employees shall be paid 62 cents per hour or such higher amount specified in Determination 8 of 2005, or any superseding determination.
Asbestos Allowance. Employees shall receive $2.50 per hour worked whilst engaged in the process of asbestos eradication (defined as work on or about buildings, involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation of any materials which consist of or contain asbestos) on the performance of work within the scope of this agreement.
Asbestos Allowance. 30.3 An Employee who is required to remove or neutralise materials containing asbestos will be paid an allowance of $1.20 per hour while undertaking such work.

This shall be paid weekly for each hour actually worked, and is not subject to premium or penalty.   • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of 2400 - 0600 hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of forty cents (40 cents) per kilometre (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours. The employee will provide to the Hospital satisfactory proof of payment of such taxi fare. Where the Hospital requires the employee to travel between sites, the Hospital will pay for transportation costs of forty (40) cents per kilometre unless the Hospital provides transportation between sites.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Safety Shoe Allowance For each unit member required by the City to wear safety shoes, the City shall provide a voucher from the City-designated department for up to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) annually toward the cost of acquiring one pair of safety shoes through the City vendor.

  • Shoe Allowance Effective May I, 2002 the employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen department once per year, the amount of $60.00 and once every two years the amount of$60.00 for maintenance, stores person, and banquet house person.   • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Specialist Schools Allowance Funding equivalent to that which a maintained school with the Academy's characteristics would receive in respect of their participation in the specialist schools programme. In the year of conversion, this may continue to be paid by the Local Authority;
