Alcohol and Drugs in the Workplace. All faculty must report to work in a condition fit to perform their assigned duties unimpaired by alcohol or drugs. The University and all faculty must comply with the provisions of the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act, the Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations, the provisions of WAC 172-64 (Alcohol Policy at Eastern Washington University), and the University’s Drug-Free Workplace policy. Faculty may not use or possess alcohol while on duty, except when authorized by the University as part of a University-sponsored event. The possession or use of illegal drugs or marijuana is strictly prohibited.

Alcohol and Drugs in the Workplace. ECNG is committed to providing a safe, efficient and productive work environment for its employees. The following rules and standards apply to all employees either on ECNG’s property, during the workday, or during ECNG sponsored business events. Anyone who violates this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or services. ECNG strictly prohibits the following:  Being over the legal limit of alcohol as per the Canadian Criminal Code during the workday;  Being under the influence of an illegal or controlled substance during the workday;  Driving for work while over the legal limit of alcohol;  Driving for work while under the influence of an illegal or controlled substance;  Distribution, dispensation, sale or purchase of alcohol or an illegal or controlled substance on ECNG property; and  Unlawful manufacture, possession or use of alcohol or an illegal or controlled substance at work. Legally-prescribed medications are excluded from this policy and permitted only to the extent that the use of such medications does not adversely affect the employee’s work ability, job performance, or the safety of that individual or others. ECNG also provides Advil or other over the counter headache medication as available. ECNG occasionally serves alcohol at office events. Employees are responsible for appropriate alcohol consumption. ECNG will provide transportation home if for any reason an employee requests a ride home or asks for assistance with respect to alcohol consumption.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City's ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription. Alcohol abuse means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, or using alcoholic beverages, or being under the influence of alcohol.

  • Alcohol and Drugs Service Provider agrees that the presence of alcohol and drugs are prohibited on the Work Site and while performing their Services. If the Service Provider or any of their agents, employees, or subcontractors are determined to be present or with alcohol or drugs in their possession, this Agreement shall terminate immediately.

  • Alcohol and Drug Testing Employee agrees to comply with and submit to any Company program or policy for testing for alcohol abuse or use of drugs and, in the absence of such a program or policy, to submit to such testing as may be required by Company and administered in accordance with applicable law and regulations.

  • Alcohol & Drugs I understand that the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances is prohibited at all game locations and Activities hosted by the Club. I understand that by not following the rules of the game, or by playing while intoxicated, or if there is any suspicion of intoxication, I will not be allowed to play and will not receive a refund.

  • Violence in the Workplace (a) The parties agree that violence shall be defined as any incident in which an employee is abused, threatened or assaulted while performing his or her work. The parties agree it includes the application of force, threats with or without weapons and severe verbal abuse. The parties agree that such incidents will not be condoned. Any employee who believes he/she has been subjected to such incident shall report this to a supervisor who will make every reasonable effort to rectify the situation. For purposes of sub-article (a) only, employees as referred to herein shall mean all employees of the Employer notwithstanding Article 2.12.

  • Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended.
