Common use of Alcohol and Drugs in the Workplace Clause in Contracts

Alcohol and Drugs in the Workplace. All faculty must report to work in a condition fit to perform their assigned duties unimpaired by alcohol or drugs. The University and all faculty must comply with the provisions of the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act, the Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations, the provisions of WAC 172-64 (Alcohol Policy at Eastern Washington University), and the University’s Drug-Free Workplace policy. Faculty may not use or possess alcohol while on duty, except when authorized by the University as part of a University-sponsored event. The possession or use of illegal drugs or marijuana is strictly prohibited.
